We attended a Christmas party for the whole base last Friday but I wasn't able to post this right away, I been busy doing stuff here and there. But anyhow, it was good, not really great but good. Each sailors received some presents and the kids got to sit on Santa's lap and was given gifts too. Dinner was served at six before Santa arrived so we got to eat before the kids got cranky hehehe.. hare are some of the snapshots.
Here was Santa arriving in front of Turtle Cove's entrance Door. The kids were thrilled but not my son. He was scared of him. We tried to let him sit in his lap but he freaked out lol...

ReplyDeleteMy daughter was afraid of Santa, too--in all the brightly lit busy places. When she was little, she sat with Santa at the Masonic Lodge--in a cool, dark room. This was on a Woodbury Holiday Festival when all the buildings were open. We still laugh about it! Kids are funny with their choices.

1. If it has "Thanks", that means you have dropped on it already.
2. If it has "Go!go!", "Wicked", "Alright" and "Awesome", that also means you have dropped on them too.
3. If it says nothing at all, just like last Friday, that the yellow bar has nothing written on it, the EC server is down or it is bugged..
Why, what was written in it? Tell me exactly so I can explain better...
Lovely post about your x-mas party with Santa! Of course your little son is afraid of Santa! My youngest grandson was also frightened of anything unusual at that age.

ReplyDeletehahaha, reminds me of Jacob; he was and still afraid to sit at santa's lap. luckily, last night, he sat on santa's lap because he knew it was his best friend's (Alex) dad ;-); btw, the christmas party we have organized was a big success. everybody enjoyed it and the children loves the part where they get to see santa and get gifts :-)
