EJ's Photography

Hubby and I love photography, maybe that is why our two kids are so interested in taking photos too. I was taking photos of my husband while he was installing the shutters in the window and my son kept asking me if he can take a picture of me. So even if it was too hot, I posed for him with a frown lol. Here is our 3 year old's photography skill.

When I was single I used to love my legs but now I have so many peklats (scar) in it that I don't like it anymore. It's actually one of hubs favorite too. But even if I don't qualify for Miss Universe (naks nagarap) , I love ME for being ME hahaha.

Button on the Nose

Some of you might remember when I posted the incident about my daughter inserting a bead inside her nose. I totally freaked out when Rylie stuck a bead in her nose because that time my husband was at work and that was the first that I ever encounter such a thing.

Our son did the same thing. I think he found a button on the floor and insert it in his nose. Last Thursday night, he kept digging his nose and telling us that there is a big boogger there. I cleaned it with q-tip but he wasn't satisfied and said that it's still there. I looked but did not see anything. The next day, he was doing it again and this time I really let him lie down so I could take a good look at his nose. He told me this time that he stuck a button there, I was like "Oh no, not again"

I used a tweezer because the button was way down there. I couldn't get it since the tweezer is too big for his nose. Hubby instructed our son to blow his nose and thank God, he knows how to do it unlike Rylie who freaked out and couldn't do it. It came out a little bit and I was able to pull it out. Thanks EJ, you saved us from going to the hospital. I wonder why kids like to do these things. Does your kids do this stuff too?

Suzuki Samurai

This is my brother-in-law's Suzuki Samurai (correct me if I am wrong with the name as I am not sure). It looks cute, isn't it? This is what him and his wife drives now. When I see them riding this one, I picture two people who are dating lol.
What do you think?

Playful Chipmunk

We were visiting my FIL the other day when I spotted this chipmunk playing between my FIL and his neighbor's yard. I tried to take photos even if the resolution of my camera is not that great. You may enlarge it to see him.

Before we went to Korea, we had one chipmunk that regularly hang out in our front porch, I wonder what happen to him coz I never saw him again now that we're back.

We Need a Shed

We looked at the available shed at Busy Beaver the other day and the kids had so much fun running around inside it. Our garage is pile up with things so we really need a shed to trim off the stuff we have in our garage. They are a little expensive though so hubby is planning to just build it himself.
Here's EJ acting silly hehehe.
My sister-in-law Chris said that she has a pattern on how to make one so hubby want to try it.

McDonald Experience

We drove by McDonalds the other day because the kids want the Shrek watches that comes with the happy meal. As hubby ordered, the sales attendant asked " What drink do you want?" My husband said that we don't want any drink. he lady then said "Oh you have to have a drink with the happy meal." I thought it was kind of unnecessary that we have to buy a drink f we don't want to. We did not need it anyway since we are going to eat the food in our home.

I was kind of upset about it because they are forcing you to buy a drink. I told the kids that we won't buy anymore of those happy meals as it made me unhappy lol.

Maybe this is one way of telling us to avoid fast foods. It's not that we always do because we seldom go there. I just find it ridiculous how the system works.

Freebies from Listia

If you haven't sign up with Listia yet, I will give you some examples of freebies that I've got from them for free. Well, I have paid shipping cost for some but most of them are free shipping. The first one is a purse which I called "playboy purse" lol. Isn't it cute? The seller of this is very nice, she accidentally put neutral on her feedback to me and she was very apologetic with it. She contacted the moderator and changed it to positive. I paid $3.50 for shipping but it's worth it coz it's darn cute. Thanks Angela!
Below is the brand new tutu that I won for 186 credits. Yeah I know, I told you guys that I won a giveaway before but I never received it till this day. So when I saw this on Listia, I was like, I have to win it for my princess and I won! She is so happy, she wear this often. This is free shipping and the seller was so nice too. She even gave me some tips on how to care for this one. You may visit her site if you want some tutu for your little girl by visiting Taylor Boutique. Please take note, this isn't a paid post, I just want to thank these people for their kindness.
The seller of this sippy cups was also a Mom so she is super nice! She listed the dora sippies as 12 ct but then it is only 11 pieces in actual. I told her not to worry about it because it is free anyway, but mind you lots of nice people are in Listia. She wants to be true to her word so she bought a new sippy just to make it complete. Which is an added bonus because EJ loves it! Thanks Traci!
These are some of the clothing, some of them are new and some are lightly used. I even bid and won some maternity dress even if I won't get pregnant anymore. One of them is new so I gave it to a preggy friend. The other tops I like because they are my size. The sketcher shoes is almost new so I bid on it and won it too.
So there, my Listia freebies.. Would you like to join us, Sign Up Now!

Playing Ball with Pap

I am so glad that even if my father-in-law will turn 88 years old in a couple of months, he is still active and able to play with the kids. I never had a chance to play with my grandparents before so to be able to see my kids play with their Pap is a joy to me.
These photos were taken last Sunday after church. EJ and Dad played ball in front of his house.
They did not know that I was taking pictures of them coz I was inside the house.
I really want to capture this precious moment of the two.
Thank you so much Dad for being so loving to all of us. You are a great role model for our clan. We love and respect you so much!

I am Pooped!

Oh lord, I am beat and pooped. I was in the mood to do some gardening this morning so as soon as I woke up, I went out in the yard and started doing it. My Father-in-Law, gave me this gerbera daisy for my birthday (Thanks Dad).

There are three inside the planter so I decided to segregage each of them and planted it in three separate planter pots.

But anyhow, I did not stop until almost twelve then we went to Lowe's and got me some mulch, dropped by at Dad's and came back to continue what I was doing. I helped hubby mow the grass and then I started again with my gardening. I wasn't able to spread out my mulch as I finish planting my creeping phlox.

These are the miniature roses that Dad gave to me a couple of weeks ago. He knows my weakness lol. Thanks again Dad.

I am now off to bed dear friends as I am very tired (it's 12:01 now). I just forced myself to post this one. Goodnight and thanks for coming by.

Runaway Dog

We have Chelsea for almost six months now and we really like her as she is a very smart dog and she is also house trained already. The problem with her is that, she love to runaway every chance she gets.

Even now that we already have a fence, her first thing when we opened our front door is to take off. It's funny because, hubby and I were talking about her this afternoon when I was eating my lunch at the kitchen. He said that Chelsea is a good dog to have but she can't be trusted.
This afternoon, the kids went at the back yard and play with them. We let them ran around without a leash because the kids were there. After 30 minutes or so, I did not hear her bark anymore so I checked and sure enough, she's gone. She managed to squeezed in under the fence. Hubby went out and looked for her. Luckily, a lady with her kids were taking their two dogs for a walk and Chelsea hanged out with them. Oh Chelsea, will you please stopping running away?
