Honeymoon in Cebu

Me and my husband both love to travel, its one thing that gives us relaxation. We had an unforgettable experience when we went to Maribago Blue Water Resort in Cebu City, Philippines for our honey moon. We planned to stay there for a week but we got disappointed when the waiter overcharged us with the drinks and food we ordered. I mean, we like the place and everything but the dishonesty of the resort's employee. So after a couple of days we decided to transfer to another nearby resort called Tambuli Beach and stayed for the rest of the week. Here's a picture of us taken in Maribago Beach.

By January we are planning to go to Japan if our budget permits lol. My husband is going there for a couple of weeks to attend the TAP class and we are thinking to go with him. When we go back to mainland, hubby really wants to go to Maine and experience the natural beauty of the place. The best time to go there i believe is during summer time because it is so cold in that State.

Mink Binket

The weather is changing drastically. It's getting colder and colder everyday. So we cranked up the heater and dug out our mink blankets (my daughter used to say mink binket). I was busy yesterday, washing up all the bed sheets and blankets. Then we cleaned the house, cooked, blogged a lil' bit and taught my second student at 5 pm.. Whew, what a busy day for Mommy. good thing Rylie is helping me, thank you anak! Here are my kids show casing their binkets lol..This one reminds me when my daughter was still a baby, she used to sleep like this.. Butt up hehehe..
happy blogging everyone and have a blessed Thursday! Thanks for visiting!

CHI-TADA

I googled ..... and googled..... and googled for a good recipe this morning and I was enticed with the Chicken Afridata recipe. When I am browsing for recipes, I don't really follow everything on the instructions hehehe. I usually combine two sources of the same recipe. Like this menu that we ate for lunch. I combined the recipe I got from kusina ni manang blog and the one that i found on another source (forgot the name, sorry). Anyhow, here's the ingredients:
Here's the marinade chicken: I used remix fresh lemon cocktail and soy sauce.

Now here's the yummylicious chitada (my version of chicken afritada)!

Note: Kusina ni Manang don't call for chicken broth and tomato sauce but the other source does, so I made my own hehehe... The outcome of the combi recipe was awesome!

Karma

You Have Fantastic Karma
You are a kind, sensitive, and giving person. And all your good deeds will pay off - if they haven't already. But you're not so concerned with what you get in return anyway. You have an innate caring nature - and nothing can change that!
How's Your Karma?
How come this thing knows exactly what I am lol. It actually paid off already, and I'm so thankful about that. Thank you Lord!

Pasta Grande

I don't have work today so me and our daughter Rylie made some lasagna.
I am glad that my hours for my part time job got reduced, I only work during Sundays and Mondays starting this month. So what I did, Instead of teaching Amy 3 times a week, we will do it Saturdays only. It will save her some money for the bus fare and it will save my kids from catching cold outside since it is getting cold in here. Thanks Amy for agreeing to my suggestion!
