  1. I need to pass this on to my daughter. She's on the short side. I'm tall and I don't have the problems finding the right type of clothing. Cute outfits!

    1. Short people can really find it hard to find outfits.

  2. You have some fabulous outfits here. I am most certainly not petite though. I am short, 5'3, but I like to eat, so I still need regular clothes.

    1. I like to eat too and I am only 4'11. Sometimes I think, I am wasting my time working out because of the way I eat lol. I am trying to change my ways though.

  3. I can remember growing up and not being able to find pants that were long enough for me because I was so tall. Short people have the same problems. Nice if fashion experts addressed this and made clothes for real people.

    1. I know right? I have to always modify the pants I buy because they are too long!

  4. I'm super short so I definitely need these tips. One thing I do religiously though, is not wear boots that go up to my knee. It shortens the leg! I stick to ankle boots!

    1. I tried wearing different kind of boots. This year, I am trying the over the knee boots, it's actually not bad. It made my legs look longer even.

  5. I'm a short girl myself and I try and follow all of these. Minus the heels. I just can't do the heels.

  6. My daughter is petite so I understand how hard it is to shop for that body type, especially for kids. I feel like stores think all kids are one size fits all!

    1. You are so right about the kids. My daughter is 12 years old but we still shop at size 8 section because she is so tiny just like me! She gets embarrassed and frustrated.

  7. I love your style! I am not short but I'm not tall either so I am always looking for ways to maximize my proportions.

  9. I love your style! I am 5'4 and struggle at times with pants that seem too long I can only imagine how difficult it is to be petite to find the right clothes. I think finding a personal style that you are comfortable with is key.

    1. I am only 4'11 so it is really hard to find my clothes especially here in the US. Back in Asia, finding my size is not a problem since most of the clothing there are designed for short peeps like me.

  10. My Mom was a shorty so it's surprising that I am as tall as I am! I remember she used to get all of her pants hemmed and it was hard finding dresses the correct length!!

    1. I am like your Mom! I have to constantly hem the pants I buy here in the US because I am too short for most of them.

  11. Great tips. I might call myself petite too, depending on where I shop. You know how some stores label clothes as "small" when they are actually a "medium." I love all you tips on how to add the illusion of height. Vertical stripes really does the trick and so does geometric prints.

  14. You pull off your height very well. Babushka's stout, not short, but at this age she really doesn't follow what "fashion" dictates...
