Memories from Korea

Just a few snapshots that reminds me of Korea.
We miss living there.
Wish we could go back.
Maybe someday.
Maybe.

Just a bit nostalgic today.
Looking at the pictures
gives me the feeling of  being there once again.
Day dreaming, that's what I am doing.

  1. I have fond memories of my two-week vacation to South Korea (where my wife is from) many years ago; in fact, I'm posting one photo from it almost every Saturday this year.

  2. Be sure to make your way back. I was last home to see extended family 40 years ago. It is something to regret.

  17. Often, I think how lucky we are these days to have cameras so we can take photos and remind ourselves of what we have loved. It must have been horrible in the past when you could not even keep the likeness of a loved one's face....

  20. I understand your melancholy when looking at photos of times past - I get very nostalgic when seeing any images of the English countryside or Oxford in particular (where I lived for 2 years in my early 20's). However, I then appreciated how blessed I've been to have experienced such travels in my life and the friends made as a result. Somewhere I recall reading some helpful advice, along the lines of "it's OK to look back on the past, just don't get stuck there!". Every stage of our lives becomes woven into the tapestry of who we are, who we've become - enjoy and savour every one.
Wishing you a more cheerful and encouraging week ahead.
