First Grader

We went to our daughter's school last Thursday and registered her in the First grade class.  Time FLIES!  We also paid the tuition Fees upon registration.  It's expensive to send your kids to private school but I like it because the   population is small so teachers, students, and parents knows each other.
My daughter's teacher wanted to  take a picture of  Ms. Burrito's face but she smiled when our daughter  posed lol.
She also included our son for the picture taking.
The artworks on the photo below were made by Ms. Burrito's class when they were in Kindergarten.
Ms. Burrito and Mrs. Gain's FIRST FOTO together.
Today was the First day of  school at St. Joe's.  I thought that I'd be okay when we sent  our daughter but when I came home, I felt nauseous once again just like the feeling I had when we first sent her to kindergarten class.  I wonder when I will get over this separation anxiety lol.

  2. Great shots of the school and your children. First grade is a big step, especially for the parents. I tried to hide my separation anxiety from my daughter when she was growing up because I had it a lot worse than she did. She was always ready for any new experience.

  3. She looks so happy meeting her teacher. The first few years of sending them off to school can be tough. But time heals the feeling of anxiety.

  8. Every Mom feels this way when sending their kids off to school. You cry when you leave the first one and you cry when you leave the last one. Every year there's a new transition and something to feel wonder and worry over. You will survive...we all do! I taught in a private Christian school and I know what you mean about the "family" atmosphere in the school. I miss that now but do enjoy tutoring nowadays.

    Have a fabulous week,

  13. Rylie is now on her first grade school. How time really flies. It was just recently that she was still a baby girl. Now she is in grade one. I understand how you feel when you left her at school and went home alone. It was an intimation of how things will come when your kids grow up and leave your house to live lives of their own. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  14. Oh, I don't think you ever get over that worry, - I remember pulling over to the side of the road and crying when I put our oldest on the bus to go into the Airforce, and I am still anxious when any of them are out on the road, - silly me!

  16. Your daughter is so adorable. Seriously.
I still hurt every year when Kaishon leaves for school. Every single year I feel so sad.
    It flies quickly, doesn't it?
Just a blink of the eye and our babies are grown : (

I like that you put her sa ganyan na school, ke ano ba ang pagpupuyat natin magkapera lang di ba para din sa kanila yan. At saka iba ang publiko na paaralan dito...you know what I mean hehe. At talagang tinagalog ko para tayo lang maka intindi hahaha. By the way ang pose aba namangha ang teacher, bonga. ^_^
    Thanks sa bisita!
