We went to our daughter's school last Thursday and registered her in the First grade class. Time FLIES! We also paid the tuition Fees upon registration. It's expensive to send your kids to private school but I like it because the population is small so teachers, students, and parents knows each other.
My daughter's teacher wanted to take a picture of Ms. Burrito's face but she smiled when our daughter posed lol.
She also included our son for the picture taking.
The artworks on the photo below were made by Ms. Burrito's class when they were in Kindergarten.
Ms. Burrito and Mrs. Gain's FIRST FOTO together.
Today was the First day of school at St. Joe's. I thought that I'd be okay when we sent our daughter but when I came home, I felt nauseous once again just like the feeling I had when we first sent her to kindergarten class. I wonder when I will get over this separation anxiety lol.
Ms. Burrito looks excited for school :) Here in the Phils school started already and it's Linggo ng Wika time :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the school and your children. First grade is a big step, especially for the parents. I tried to hide my separation anxiety from my daughter when she was growing up because I had it a lot worse than she did. She was always ready for any new experience.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so happy meeting her teacher. The first few years of sending them off to school can be tough. But time heals the feeling of anxiety.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter seemed to do well in first grade; second grade awaits!

Every mom's dream to send their child to a good school and also a nightmare worrying sick. Every age comes with their own set of problems I suppose!!

Every Mom feels this way when sending their kids off to school. You cry when you leave the first one and you cry when you leave the last one. Every year there's a new transition and something to feel wonder and worry over. You will survive...we all do! I taught in a private Christian school and I know what you mean about the "family" atmosphere in the school. I miss that now but do enjoy tutoring nowadays.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week,

First grade is a big step, but it is great to know who your child is with and that they are safe and much loved. You are blessed,
ReplyDeleteI followed the bus to school for a week! Oy.
ReplyDeleteBoth kids look so happy in the classroom.
This school looks very nice. First day experience is always cherished.

ReplyDeleteIkaw dapat ang ma-wean .. hhahaha.. masanay kana mas maramai pa diyan ang darating.. dropping by Rose.. :)
ReplyDeleteRylie is now on her first grade school. How time really flies. It was just recently that she was still a baby girl. Now she is in grade one. I understand how you feel when you left her at school and went home alone. It was an intimation of how things will come when your kids grow up and leave your house to live lives of their own. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't think you ever get over that worry, - I remember pulling over to the side of the road and crying when I put our oldest on the bus to go into the Airforce, and I am still anxious when any of them are out on the road, - silly me!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if one ever gets over that anxiety. Ours is 19 and I still get wrought!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is so adorable. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteI still hurt every year when Kaishon leaves for school. Every single year I feel so sad.
It flies quickly, doesn't it?
Just a blink of the eye and our babies are grown : (

At talagang tinagalog ko para tayo lang maka intindi hahaha. By the way ang pose aba namangha ang teacher, bonga. ^_^
