Took these shots the other day when I played with Champ at our backyard the other day.
I noticed that the birds that we used to feed during summer did not leave. They keep coming back every day even on frigid weather.
I feel bad for these critters.
busog kasi sis kaya ayaw umalis. hehehe.
ReplyDeletemay makakain pa kasi sila, nice shot bading

ReplyDeletesiguro they feel very cold already
ReplyDeleteProbably those birdies are already tired of migrating! Stay na lang sila dyan kahit pa malamig. Feel siguro nila that you love to see them there! he he..
ReplyDeleteVave a wonderful Sunday Rose!
Couldn't spot any bird on the first two shots. Wonder what fruit that is.
ReplyDeleteLeaf-less tree shows up the birds well.
They are looking for food. Put some apples or bird seed out for them perhaps...
ReplyDeleteI agree with ladyfi, I think they are looking for food. Great shot.
ReplyDeletecool shots
ReplyDeleteIf I were those birds I'd definitely leave. I don't like the cold!
ReplyDeleteNice shot poh!!! Anong prutas po yan?
ReplyDeletetough life!
ReplyDeletenasarapan sa pinapakain mo Rose...oi, kasali na ako niting CC meme ha, andon sa iTravel ko hehehe
ReplyDeleteEver sweet! Our feeder has about a dozen mourning doves. I must pop some more seed in!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting My World !
Hi, nice photos! Some birds do not migrate and stya year round even in the cold temp's.
ReplyDeleteIt seems most of our birds have gone elsewhere with the snow. I miss them!
ReplyDeletewawa naman.. why didn't they fly south? hehehe :)
ReplyDeleteSome birds don't migrate. Your birds look like doves. They are ground foragers. They like fresh water during the cold winter months.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images, very well shot.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have food for them..... they are scouring the landscape looking for seed and other foods....
ReplyDeleteSmart critters, they know ehre the food is!
ReplyDeleteHi Rose,
ReplyDeleteThese are mourning doves. While they are normally ground forgagers I have found they do eat out of the feeder if enough seed hasn't been scattered about.
They stay around all year.
Love that seed shot!
still nowhere to go for those birds. come spring time, they will fly off to a more warmer place.
ReplyDeletenice capture with the twigs there, rose. continue feeding the birds, must they come back for the next winter?
God bless you more for your care of the least of our little brother creatures. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
ReplyDeleteProbably they can tolerate the cold and they don't have to leave because they well-fed in your area :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for passing by on my site
Hope they can survive!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by, Rose
