I still didn't get my passport today. When I went to DFA last Friday, they told me that it might be in today but without a luck, I didn't get it. We lost our ticket for tomorrow. Its non refundable so we bought another set for Friday which cost us 14k pesos sigh... Thanks again for all of you who keep visiting...
Oh... How our government office can ever be trusted and so their words can be believed? Sigh...

ReplyDeleteHey Rose, Sorry you are having bad luck. I'll send some over for you. The Irish are lucky you know. I've been working on my adoption case, and I did find an ex wife of my birth father who has two children, meaning I have a half-brother and half-sister. God I hope that we are right about this. Wish me luck, and I'll wish you some back. Your friend, Amanda

ReplyDeleteHow incompetent those people at the DFA are. Imagine you lost 14k for a scheduled ticket that cannot be refunded anymore. Probably makes you more determined not to live in our country anymore. Nakakahiya sila. Sorry for your travails at the DFA. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.
ReplyDeletewhen i went home last jan to renew my passport, i paid about P3k under the table to expedite my passport. i have no choice because we have to go back here in australia for my son's first day of school.
ReplyDeleteit's sad that our public system would not change.
i am sorry to learn about that, Rose :-(. our government still did't change and it is disappointing to travel there talaga.
ReplyDeletesayang yung ticket, nakalimutan mo na siguro ipa re book, kasi dami mo iniiip eh.
