The Burritos were so excited to harvest the corn that they planted at our backyard. My husband said that when he was a kid, he also tried to grew some corn but the ants always beat him to the corn. He didn't think that the kids' corn would survive from the ants but it did.
They were so happy to reap what they sow. Next year, they are planning to plant more lol.
That corn looks almost as sweet as those sweet kiddies eating it!! :-) Precious!

ReplyDeleteAh, they are able to eat corn like this until they lose a tooth or two...corn like this is great when roasted on a grill...when Allegra had braces, we used to cut the roasted corn off the ear with a knife. Even though she has not had braces for years, she still does that...around here, we love corn!

How fun! I always felt like a sticky mess when I would desilk corn, but with such a yummy product. And I agree with photowannabe, home grown veggies are always the best.
