Memorial island Hopping #2

During our first night at Jeju Island, we went out and ate dinner at a Korean restaurant. We ate Kalbi (not sure how they call it) but it was good. They gave us a big platter of thinly sliced pork marinated with some sauce together with veggies. Then we boiled the sauce and cooked the veggies and meat in three minutes. We ate it with rice, it was delish!
Here's the korean name of the restaurant hehehe. The ambiance was nice too. We cooked it in front of us, on top of our table.

Memorial Island Hopping #1

In every military base there is an MWR (Morale Welfare & Recreation). They always offer trips to both local and international destinations. Last month they had a trip to Australia and Thailand. This month they hosted a local trip to one of the beautiful island here in the land of the morning calm. So we signed up just so we could enjoy the nature and get out from the base a little bit. So here's the start of our journey to Jeju Island or Jejudo. My sweethearts poses before leaving our abode last Saturday. We left at three pm to catch our flight in Busan Airport.
Waiting for the bus that will take us to the airport in front of Duffy's. The MWR bus that took us to the airport. Fun inside the bus. Taken from the bus when we are approaching the Busan airport. Checking in at the airport. Photos taken at the airport lounge while waiting for the plane. Inside the jinair plane.Tune in for the next post guys..

Hallabong Fruit

The highlight of the our island hopping is the hike t Mt. Halla, but we didn't go because of the kids. Its going to be a hard one for them because its a 4 hours hike. But anyhow, one of the Filipinos who went is Kuya Noel. When we were going home he got these boxes of hallabong fruit that he bought for pasalubong. We didn't know that we are one of the recipients of those fruits lol.. Thanks a lot Kuya Noel, you are so thoughtful!Hallabong are so sweet and juicy!

Moments with Pap

The theme for this Friday's Mommy Moment is Grandparents bonding. Our kids had a lot of sweet moments with their Pap back home that is why Rylie is so close to Dad. She is Pap's partner when he is brewing coffee, a duo in sweeping the yard, and even doing dishes. She misses all of those times that she and Pap can bond together. Here's Rye helping Dad clean up the dishes.
Having a short walk in the neighborhood. Take her for ride in her stroller during winter times. A team in watching TV. Dad even attended EJ's baptism, which shocked all of us because he really is not a church goer. Pap is the cushion when they are sleepy. And a tour guide during adventures. I must have deleted accidentally the folder where Mama had moments with our kids wahhhh..
