Life Begins at....

On the day I turned 40, we woke up so early to  catch our flight  going to Texas.    I am just glad that my kids are a real trooper, they  were ready when we woke them up at  3 o'clock in the morning.
@Pittsburgh Airport waiting for our flight to Chicago
It was raining when we land  to Chicago
Our connecting flight from Pittsburgh to Chicago took 1 and 1/2 hours.  I regret  that I did not let my kids wear jackets as it was so cold on the plane.  I was  literally shaking.  Our flight from Chicago to San Antonio was a bit longer, 2 hours and 35 minutes.  We were greeted at the airport by the Dias  Family.
Love the  bouquet they gave me and the welcome sign is  just too sweet!

The Dias Family were so  thoughtful and sweet to  threw a party for me.  We had dinner at their home.

A Huge  Thanks to the Dias Family  for  making our stay in Texas extra   memorable.  I could not  ask for more  for a better birthday celebration.  So is it true that life begins at 40?  For me, my life begins when I  married my husband and have kids of my own!  Life then and now is just  wonderful!

  2. Happy birthday! I will say (as I am approaching 59 this fall), that the perspective that you have from 40 on is priceless. I think you will notice the shift over time. So, from that POV, I guess it does 'begin' after 40....
