House of God

We missed few Sundays of going to church last month because of the stomach flu that really hammered all of us.  But we are all well now so we can resume  visiting the house of God once again on Sundays.
We assembled another box of 500-piece puzzle  called "Good Little Shepherds" this weekend.    I framed two of it already and now we are down to  two boxes.  We already started another box again.
I love doing puzzles, it relaxes and challenges  me and it's a great bonding time for the whole family.
How about you folks, how's your weekend?

  1. What a fun tradition for your family! You are creating such wonderful memories with your children; good for you! By the way, that puzzle looks difficult (I unfortunately do not have the patience for them)...

  10. That's a nice hobby for the kids. Also, it's a good way of learning how to have lots of patience! hehe.. alam mo ba Rose na wala akong patince sa ganyan? But then, I tried to finish one and I did, kaya lang in the end, may isang missing piece. Center pa naman yung wala kaya, ayun, nasayang lang! :(

    1. Hi Paula, at our home, electronic gadgets are the last thing they could do. We engage them into mind-challenging activities.

  17. You sure manage a lot of blogs! How in the world do you do that? ^_^ And I love no word verification thing!

I almost forgot how fun it is to play puzzle. Not the 500 or even 1000 pieces though. No patience for that! When I have a family of my own, I'd definitely play this with my children.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll swing by again soon, maybe even follow if you happen to enjoy my posts.

  20. I'm a fan of those hundred to thousand pieces puzzles too. Can't wait until we can sit down and work on one as a family. Right now, our youngest is at the stage where everything goes directly to his mouth. :D

  23. Love that puzzle, what a beautiful scene. My daughters and I have had hours of fun piecing jigsaw puzzles together. Such a fun way to spend time together. It's wonderful to hear that church is part of your family life as well. I will be preaching this Sunday in the church where I am doing my student ministry placement. God help me! :)

  24. I love doing puzzles too. My son and I were so close to completing one (1000 pieces) - a real tough one, and then I tipped the board over by mistake last night and made a mess of it :(
