Hubby gave me a pot of miniature roses for valentine's day, thanks a bunch hon! I preferred this miniature roses over the fresh cut flowers because with the former, I can grow them. I have five different kinds of miniature roses in my garden and they come back every year which reminds me of every occasion that hubby got me those.
Mr. Burrito went with his dad in the store and he bought a heart shaped cookie for his sister and an almond joy for me and for him lol.

I love you with all my heart Mr. C.!
I hope that this baby won't die in my care but it looks like they are healthy so hopefully I could make them live till summer where I can plant them in my garden.
On the other note, I wish my husband a happy birthday! May God grant you a long and healthy life. Thank you for being the best Dad and husband!

Have to hit the hay early tonight, thanks for dropping by!
ReplyDeleteYes, giving roses in pots is more practical than giving a bunch of roses since the roses in pots can be cultivated and then transferred to your garden come spring time. Oh I love almond joy. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
ReplyDeletethat's cute. honestly, bunch of roses are great but i would rather have a rose plant too, haha. that at least would last longer. is that like pitimini, rose? i used to grow different colors of pitimini when i was a kid. i haven't tasted almond joy, but i love everything that has almonds on it. just visiting here.
ReplyDeleteThe roses are beautiful.Love miniature roses. That Almond Joy looks good too!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up pala Ate Rose, I didn't realize that everyone gets that annoying word verification prompt on my blog. LOL!
Hi Czjai, yup I hate the word verification especially now that there are two set of words and the other one is hard to read. Hope you can remove it.
DeleteThe roses are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a very sweet Valentine's Day Rose! Does Mr.Burrito like AlmondJoy himself? When my (now 41yr old) son used to get me gifts, they were often things he liked, so thought I'd enjoy them too! Happy SSS.
ReplyDeleteHi Cassie, yep he does that's why he bought two. One for him and one for me lol.

ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate V-day as lovers day in Finland, it's more like 'a day of friends or friendship' - we remember all our friends.
