Magpies

There's a lot of magpies here in Korea, unfortunately they're very aloof so you can't really take pictures in a close distance. But I never give up so when we were taking for a walk, I patiently took picture of this fella up in the tree.

Thanks for visiting folks!

    Ano yung nahimoot and kalingaw?

    Nahimoot- means natatawa....:)

    kalingaw/lingaw/bibo- means ang saya-saya....:)

depende din sa sentence sis....like for example: natututwa ako sau....sa bisaya "nalingaw ko sa imo"

or "kalingaw ba kaayo ninyo" means "ang saya-saya nyo naman"

  8. They can really hide, can't they! They must be camera shy!

  9. They are gorgeous birds. I wonder why they are so shy in Korea - around here they are not exactly tame, but let you come pretty close.
I read up on Korean magpies in Wikipedia just now, I didn't know that they were so common and popular there!

  10. They are such interesting birds how they copy the other bird's songs. I guess they can get to be an annoyance though with their steady singing. Lucky you that you saw one!

  25. Thanks for visiting our blog. We saw magpies once in the botanical garden in Taipei also. They move so fast and difficult for me to get a clear shot of them.

  26. Wala yata tayong magpies sa Pinas ano? Mabuti naman at nakakuha ka ng litrato nito lalo pa't masyado palang mailap ito. Iba na kasi ang may handy camerang dala dala. Ready to shoot palagi, lol. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
