I barely slept last night thinking about my brother, his family situation, and my mother. Mama's memory of Papa's death is still fresh so she is finding a hard time accepting the truth that the second father to the family is now gone. I talked to her on the phone yesterday and she wants me there to help with the situation. How I wish I could just ride a jeepney and be there. To give her a hug and comfort her. It is very painful to me and I know that it is more painful to a mother. I grew up with my brother and it is so hard for me to accept the truth too. I am actually in denial, thinking that all of these are just dreams.. bad dreams.. Thank you all so much for your comforting words and for the prayers, I really need it right now.
I know that God has plans and I am not questioning HIS will.

and the BBQ feast has begun..
We went for a walk yesterday and as we pass by our neighbor, we smelled some barbecue. My husband said "We should make some bbq tomorrow." So I marinated the meat last night so we could make some bbq today. While waiting for my husband to arrive, my burritos and I cleaned up the grill.. The daughter took some photos while the mom cleans up lol.. (pictures were taken at the back porch)
We have two grills here. We bought the bigger one last year and when my husband's buddy was leaving, he gave us his small one. Does anyone need one, you can have the small one for free.. you have to come here though hehehe..
My daughter scratching her elbow because the pesky skitters bit her again... I killed a lot of them while were out though.. revenge! The marinated meat..
Meat in the skewers..
The BBQ team, grilling..
And here's the end product... TADAH! YUMMY! I just wish we have some achara hehehe..Thanks for visiting everyone!

Eggplant Omelet, the healthy way
Tortang talong or eggplant omelet is very popular to Filipinos, it is a common dish that is commonly prepared. This is usually fried but I sometimes bake it to avoid too much grease and its healthier. Have you try baking eggplant omelet? It's good!
Giant Flower
I took this picture when we went to Changwon last Saturday. We visited the new City7Mall just to pass the boredom here in our place. Isn't this a pretty structure that Korean's built? Korean people are very ornate and artistic when it comes to landscaping and decorating.
Thanks for coming by folks!

My Eyesight.
For the last couple of weeks, we were always on the go taking opportunity of the good weather so we were visiting places where we could unwind and relax. Going some where means an eyeglasses time for me. I have to wear my eyeglasses whenever we go somewhere so I could enjoy the view and read signs while my husband is driving. I am helpless when I don't wear it because I couldn't see from far distances. The problem I have in wearing my eye glasses is, it is giving me a head ache. My husband said that maybe I need a new pair again. So here I am browsing online hoping that I could find an optical center that offers inexpensive prescription glasses.

Making Funny Faces
As I have mentioned in my Etecetera blog, we paid hubby a surprise visit at his work last Thursday. I pushed the burritos in the stroller for 45 minutes ( I sweat a lot lol).. My husband wanted to drive us home and then he will come back to work again. I told him that we will just wait till he get off from work then we'll go home together. While waiting for him, I told my daughter to make faces so we can enjoy while waiting. So I snapped, clicked, snapped..... the camera and here are the result of my princess kikay face hehehe.
My share of haggard looking face hehehe.
Have a good day everyone!

That's my Dad!
Our Dad is awesome, he is willing to teach us everything including bugs , ants, worms and other little creature you can see in the ground.
He is a loving husband and Dad!
Sometimes he want to be a kid too, making silly gestures like this.
He is thankful that God gave him a daughter and a son.
Even when he is busy with his renovation at our basement, he is still willing to play and pose for a pic with us.
For us, he is the best Sailor ever!
He makes us happy with his goofy faces like this..
Our dad wants to be a jack of all trade so he knows a lot of stuff like remodeling, renovating, or whatever you call it.
I am so happy that he always let me help him do chores like shoveling snow in our driveway.
Sometimes, we want to think that Dad want to be a scientist because he like to do experiment like this one.
Yup, for me Daddy is the honorable sailor of the Universe!
See, he loves us and he always plays with us.
He is wiling to be a bull just to give us satisfaction and happiness.
Our dad is loving, caring, funny, witty, supportive, understanding, and crazy (in a good way).
So Dad, even if you have the most stinkiest fart in the whole world, we love you because you are our only DAD! Happy Father's Day!

Enjoying the beauty of nature on weekend - Last part
This is the last part of our family bonding last weekend. Hope you guys enjoy the short tour from our place. We planned to come back in this place someday because it is a good place for the kids to run around and enjoy the scenery of the nature.
Most of the places here in the land of the morning calm has exercise path. You will seldom see chubby people here because they are very conscious with their health. One of the tour guides who went with us during our Indoc said that he gained a little weight and her mom told her that she's getting fat hehehe... Old people especially love to have their exercise everyday. Aside from healthy foods that they eat, exercise makes the Korean people healthy even at old age..
Have a nice and joyful day folks!

Enjoying the beauty of nature on weekend Part 2
Here's the second part of our weekend enjoyment at the national Fisheries and Research here in Chinhae. This place is great for a relaxing weekend, to unwind, to exercise, and to just enjoy the beauty of the nature.
This part is on the other side. They cultivate different kind of fish here.
These photographs shows how they develop the place. It used to be a dumpster.
I find this roots pretty...
lovely plants!
Thanks for dropping by folks, your comments are always appreciated!
