Installing the Gates of the Fence

Hello everyone, how is the start of your week? Mine was busy, I just now have the time to open my blog and make some update. We went to Lowe's today and bought the water sealer that we will apply on the inside part of the fence. Below are the pictures when hubby and I, with the help of Dad, installed the gates. We did not buy a ready made gate because it was a little expensive.

My husband just made tow gates out of the panels that we bought.

Now that our fence is up, I am glad because the kids can just play at the back without me worrying that some bad people will harm them. The deers also can't access with my flowers anymore, the only problem is that my dog Chelsea loves eating all of the flowers she can't find wahhhhh.

We used solid stain outside the fence to hide the grains of the wood and we will be using clear and natural look of stain inside. Hubby will use a sprayer inside to finish it quicker. Will post the painted fence net time.

Mulch

We went to Lowe's yesterday to buy the water sealer for the fence. I also bought two bags of mulch and put it in my garden in front of the house. I got tired of the weeds that keeps coming back over and over again. so there, it looks better with mulch anyway.
These are the flower seeds that I am growing. I did not buy any flowers this year in the store as I did not have savings for it. Hopefully this will grow faster before the heat of the sun become intense. The seeds by the way, are the seeds from my previous plants, I did not buy them.
Thanks for visiting folks.

Lost but Lucky

I wasn't able to participate to the Camera Critters meme last week because we went down Hoopie, the place where my parents-in-law both grew up. We took Dad with us and he showed us the places where they used to play and stuff. I think, it's been so long since my FIL visited the lace that is why, we got lost. We turned the wrong way.
We got LOST but we got lucky because the owner of this ranch that we drove to were very nice. They let the kids pet the ponies and the dogs, they also got the chance to rid in the horse!
They have goats, chicken, and I think 8 horses in their ranch.
Thanks Mary and Janie for being so cordial and friendly to us even if you don't know us. You guys gave our kids a great opportunity to experience the wild side of WV.
Rylie and EJ had a blast, they sure had so much fun in going down WV.
We plan to come back there when we have a chance. It's a long drive though, It takes 2 to 3 hours to drive down there. You will never get bored though because the view are gorgeous! I'll show some more pics next time!

Fun-Filled Mother's day

I've posted on my Nostalgic Marveling blog our fun-filled and adventurous Mother's day this year. Together with close our friends, we celebrated the special day at the Raccoon Creek Park in PA. Although it was cold that day but we had so much!

I mentioned on my previous post that I wasn't able to locate the mother's day card that my daughter made for me the last time I was looking for it. well, I cleaned up the clutter in our computer desk and found it. So here it is.

Here's the card that hubby gave me on that special day, thanks Hon!

My SIL Chris is very thoughtful, she never forgot to give me card in every occasion. She also gave me a butterfly garden stick to put in my garden but I put it in the flower vase hehehe.

A dear friend from California also sent me a personalized MD message. Thanks Dhemz and Akesh.

I want to thank Raquel for going with us even though they have committed to other activity to attend to. Hope you enjoyed your first first Mother's day Manay!

Thanks also to the Worthingthon family for joining and celebrating the MD with us. We had so much with you guys!

She also gave me a bouquet of carnation, luvya badingding.. You are so sweet (alam mo ba fresh pa din yung flowers hehehe).
I had a flower vase full of sweet flowers from sweet people on that special day!

How Do I Look?

When EJ experimented on his haircut, hubby had to fix it through shaving his hair. After the hair cut and a bath, EJ felt pretty good about his hair, wore my sunglasses and kept asking us "How do I look now?".
Parents are so blessed when they have kids because there's always joy in most of the things they do.

Their laughter brings harmony in every family's home.
I thank God all the time for giving us the best opportunity and the most challenging job there is.. being Parents!
