Butterfly

This pretty butterfly was flying around us when the kids were playing at Tomlinson Run last weekend.

She was dancing in front of us, she's like saying "Come on and get me if you can."

Well thanks for her show because I took some few snaps of her and now I have something to blog about lol...

Laundry-ing...

Good morning everyone, how y'all doing? I just got done loading my washer but before I was able to sort out everything, my helper did some poses for me. Champ jumped in the laundry basket. I said "What are you doing?"

He told me, he just want to hang around. I said "Okay."

But hey, what do you think you're doing (Me). champ replied "I am just sniffing"

Alright.. doing laundry is not a dog thing.. It's kinda boring and I am getting sleepy now.

Horse Back Ride

Rylie's first attempt in riding the horse. The owner laughed because she did not sit properly lol. She got it right though afterwards. There you go!

EJ was a pro, he got it right away.

Fun at the Creek

Aside from the huge yard that John's Aunt has down hoopie, there's also a small creek near her house. We had so much fun running around chasing the kids and exploring the creek.

My hubby has told the kids many stories about playing in the same creek when he was a child. He was very fond of catching crayfish and salamanders.

He really enjoyed showing the kids the various types of wildlife living in and around the creek. I'm just glad we didn't see any black snakes, cottonmouths, or copperheads.

Rylie had a blast throwing rocks in the still water, a job usually held by EJ.

I grew up on a farm, so I experienced all of this stuff. For my kids, this is a fun and exciting learning adventure because they don't normally see these things at home.
