Good Luck

This must have been my lucky month so far this year. Got hired with the part time job I applied for the other week and got approved from 3Ps too. Isn't it nice to have a good luck with things you've hoping for.
Anyhow, I'm going to start working this Friday. I dunno what to expect, but I am wishing I could do it lol... My blogging time will be limited. My workload will only be on weekends and night shifts so my hubby can take care of our angels at home. That way, we don't have to put them in a day care center, its not worth it.

hilarious habit

My son used to cross his feet whenever he's in the middle of doing something like when he is nursing or playing his favorite toy. He still does it once in a while but not as much as before.

But now that he is growing up, his new thing is to make faces like this one, we call it chucky face..

This is my daughter's signature face when she was a baby..

Take Me Home, Country Roads

I was listening to the country music on yahoo a little while ago and it played one of my favorite one, Take Me Home, Country Road. It made me homesick, I miss our home in West Virginia and my family and friends there. We're missing you guys so much! We can't wait till we come back there again next year!

Here's the lyric:
Almost heaven, West Virginia Blue ridge mountains Shenandoah river -
Life is old there Older than the trees Younger than the mountains Growin like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
All my memories gathered round her
Miners lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine
Teardrops in my eye
Country roads, take me home To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
I hear her voice
In the mornin hour she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
And drivin down the road I get a feelin
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
Take me home, now country roads
Take me home, now country roads

Double Benifits

I been dying to work out since we got overseas but I don't have enough time to do it, or should I say I'm just lazy to do It lol.... I really want to lose these fats that I gained since I gave birth to my son (as you can see on my picture). Well this morning I woke up early trying to catch the mosquito that's been biting me and EJ last night but I couldn't catch it. It made me so mad. I wasn't able to go back to bed anymore so I decided to go jogging. So I went, I ran as far as I could until I got so tired.

Going back, I saw this beautiful squirrel, so I stopped. I'm always fascinated with them. As I stood there watching him, I thought that when he sees me, he will run out but to my surprise he just keep on eating (I got used to the squirrels in the States, they're very aloof to people). I got curious and move a little closer to see what he was eating, and it was a mushroom or toadstool? MUSHROOM guys, have you ever seen a squirrel that  eats mushroom? I was amazed because I thought that they only eat nuts and seeds. Too bad I don't have my camera with me, It was a rare scene to capture with.

Anyhow, I made a promise to myself that I will make Saturday mornings my work out days (I hope I could hehehe) to get rid of this fat out from my body. I am also encouraging everyone to get fit even just a power walk a day will do. You will get to enjoy the environment and at the same time you're staying healthy.

PS Hoppers.
This is an old post from three years ago, so don't be surprised that I said we're overseas. We're now back home. Thanks for commenting and for following!
