During my daughter's Halloween party in her class, I was one of the homeroom Moms assigned to assist the kids. I brought some snacks and other Moms brought some craft and games to play. They got so many treats and they had fun pretending to be vampires using their fake teeth.

Boo Boo
When Mr. Burrito was little, he was very dramatic every time he gets a scrape or a bruise.
Photo was taken four years ago in South Korea.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Charcoal Sketches of my Kids
Two different artists did a charcoal sketches of my two Burritos. Mr. Burrito's sketch was done by a Filipino who lives in California. I thought she did an excellent job with every details.
Ms. Burrito's portrait was sketched by a childhood friend of mine who is currently working in Dubai. Both artists have very different technique but I like them both!
I wish that I have a talent like them lol. Thanks guys!

My Sister's Blog
I finally convinced my youngest sister to start a blog of her own. I have been bugging her for so long that she got tired of hearing it whenever we are chatting lol. She agreed to blog in one condition though, that I would help her manage it from time to time.
So without further ado, here's her blog entitled "The World Around Mae". I hope you can spare a minute or two and drop by at her site. Thanks a lot!

Sequence of Three
Watching a movie with the Burritos and Champ |
My husband believe that everything comes in threes in his life whether it's a good luck, bad luck, death, and other events. Here are the series of not-so-good events at our home.
- Sometime in October , our truck broke down so that cost us an arm and leg for the repair. There are parts in the engine that were replaced.
- Then few weeks after that, the plumbing system at commode got clogged. We tried the best we could to unclog it but it did not worked so we had to call a plumber. I think he worked on it for 15 minutes and he charged us almost five hundred bucks... argghhhh.
- I thought for sure that my broken budget will count as the third bad event but I was wrong because last weekend, my computer crashed! Oh no, not again...
So now, my computer is at the Computer Rescue Repair. I don't know when the technician will be able to finish it. I am currently using my husband's super slow PC, whew. This would explain why my photo is not related to the above events. All the photos I have were downloaded on my PC. This is also the reason why my visit to other blogs are limited.
These sequence of three events definitely ruined my budget plans.. sigh.

Do you have some beliefs like that of my husband's?

Tombstones that Rhymes
Exploring the corn maze was fun for all of us. It was more of an exercise because the Burritos just want to run through the whole thing.
Then they wanted to read all of the tings that was written on the tombstones display.
Most of the sentences on the tombstones rhymes.
Another year of fun-filled exploration at the farm for our family. We look forward to doing this again next year.

Fairness, Caring, and Integrity
As much as we would like to hold on to warmer season, Winter weather is rolling in. This means a lot of times is being spent indoors. My children are the type of kids who can't just sit in front of the TV and be contented with it. Hubby and I have to be creative in finding things that they can do so they won't get bored.
When crafts and other activities are not on the list to do in our home, wrestling, chasing each other, dancing, or cooking in the kitchen are our ways to have fun.
The fur babies love to get involved when the Burritos are playing too.
I love this quote by H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
"Live so that when your children think of fairness, caring, and integrity, they think of you."

Outdoor Lovers
Photos below were taken a couple of weeks ago. I took my kids for a walk around the neighborhood while the weather was warm.
Fall is beautiful but it does not last very long. I get nostalgic when I look around and see bare trees.
Most of the trees does not leaves anymore. I am so glad that before the storm, I was able to let my children enjoy raking the leaves and had fun with it. These two both love outdoors so the smile on their faces is always visible when they can spend time outside.
