Hugs and Kisses

When I was still single, I used to think and wonder how it feels to be a MOM. My two younger sister got married before me and I saw how hard it is to do their tasks as a mother and a wife. I thought that I won't be a good Mom because I doubted myself that I would be able to do such things. But now that I am a mother of two, I realized that no matter how hard it is, by just looking at my precious ones gives me strength especially if they are giving me hugs and kisses.
These pictures were taken during the Valentines day of 2007 at our home in WV.

Chewing Gum

I was browsing my old posts when I just started blogging and I found this one and thought of reposting it.

This was original posted on July 21, 2008 when we were still living in S. Korea.

My daughter Rylie love chewing gum. The other day we went to the store and as my husband was paying at the counter, Rylie slid a roll of chewing gum in front of her Dad. She was so sleak.. The cashier laughed to her gesture.

When we arrived home, she immediately opened it and stuck the whole thing in her mouth. Me and my husband were laughing but at the same time concerned that she might choke on it. Well, I think that she got tired of chewing it that she fell asleep. I tried taking it out but she resisted so we just let her took her nap with the gum inside her mouth.

My husband went to the bedrom to check on her and he came back and told  me  "where's the camera?" I said "why?". He said "I have to take this awesome pose". And here it is: Poor little thing!

Florida Flight

First of all, I would like to thank all those who came and left comments on my blogs while I was gone. Your time is greatly appreciated.

Below are some photos I took during our flight going to Orlando Florida for our one week vacation.  We decided  to drive going to the airport and just had our car  park at the extended parking area near the  airport.
We rode a shuttle bus who picks up passengers from the parking area  to the airport.
While checking in, our son was  pulling  our carry on luggage.
We left home early so we won't be late from our flight but our connecting flight to Ohio was delayed.  Good thing I brought some scribbler pad, pens and crayons for the kids to use.
Our kids were in such  good spirits during the flight.
We finally reached our destination,.  Below is a shot taken in Orlando airport.
We finally met the Dias family for the very first time.  The kids acted like they have known each other  for life.
We ate at the  hotel's food  place for dinner.
They tried the game room for a brief moment.
Then we bonded at the Diaz's hotel room after dinner.  Our condolences to you and your family Dhemz.  We are  praying  that may God give you strength and courage during this time of family loss.

Fun Everywhere

Kids can really have fun anywhere if you put them together.  During Mr. Burrito's birthday, the kids entertained themselves  with anything that they can play with.  They went to the basement, at the top of the bunk bed, in the living room, and even in the kitchen and dining area.

Kids Section

I transferred Rylie's arts and crafts table and chair at the corner of our dining room to give our living room more room for the guests during Mr. Burrito's birthday. The kids actually loved it there, everyone tried to sat there and did some scribbling and stuff.
Haley and  Ms. Burrito  enjoying their food.  Little Gracie joined them afterwards.
After eating,  they did some  drawing and stuff.  Below is with the celebrant.
Then Jake took over when Mr. Burrito left.
Glad the  kids had fun during the celebration.  The big kids  enjoyed playing at our basement.  Our hardwood fllor got tore up though from  the  bicycles and stuff wahh..

Sorry folks if I wasn't around much lately, I just have a lot of things going on around here.  Today was a holiday so Ms. Burrito did not have a classes.   I tried to  teach both of the burritos some lessons from the book that I bought in the store.  Ms. Burrito is doing pretty good with the first grader book while Mr. B's span of attention is very very short.  It frustrates me to teach him but I know that in time, he would focus eventually.    I just need more patience in teaching him.

Thanks for visiting  guys and for leaving your thoughts all the time.

Best Friend

Our little socialite Gracie  was super excited when she saw Justine yesterday.  She immediately gave  Ms. J a hug.  The whole time that they were here, they played and  did some  writing together.
Little Gracie cried when  Ms. J  went home.  She wanted  to go with them lol.
Aren't they so sweet?

I recorded this video of Jake and EJ when we celebrated Justine's birthday at Raccoon Park in PA. Hubby always says that dancing and singing are very common talents of Filipinos lol. Please watch our burritos dance moves hehehe.
When I got done watching our kids' dance video, this one popped up too. These two kids are so talented. Watch it guys, they will make you smile.

Fun with Pots and Pans

Does your children ever been addicted into playing with pots and pans?

My two lil' ones wants to play with it everyday. Rylie has a very creative imagination and ideas about what she's suppose to be cooking.. Sometime's she would say that she's making filipino foods such as menudo, caldereta, adobo and so on.. for our dinner.. There are time's that she said she's making a dessert, baking cookies, cake and stuff like that.. And she'll put it in the plate and let you try it too lol... I have to act like I am enjoying to eat them to show her my appreciation..

It's so fun watching them. But sometime's when I have so much stuff going on around the house I don't want them playing with it because it's scattered everywhere especially in the living room and kitchen... Hayyyy mahirap pag may makukulit!

two faces

My daughter was acting yesterday. She told me that she was a little bit upset because I didn't give her what she wanted. But anyhow, to shift the mood that she was on, I told her that I will take a picture of her upset mood and will also take a happy face and she agreed. So here is the happy face that she portrayed hahaha.. Kids are so funny, you just have to learn how to work with their moods swings...
So what do you think guys lol?!

Mini Hike at the Hills

Our little mountaineers would like to climb at the hill where we sued to hang out when Daddy is at work. So I took them there the other day. As we walked down there, my burritos were holding hands and I thought that it was very cute.
Throwing small rocks at the bottom are their favorite thing to do, they were aiming at me when I took these photos.
They never get tired of coming to this place, I am glad that in early age they are close to nature and knows how to appreciate it.
Here's my mini mountaineers doing their hike.
When we got home, they took a long nap after taking a bath. Have a nice day everyone!
