Hugs and Kisses

When I was still single, I used to think and wonder how it feels to be a MOM. My two younger sister got married before me and I saw how hard it is to do their tasks as a mother and a wife. I thought that I won't be a good Mom because I doubted myself that I would be able to do such things. But now that I am a mother of two, I realized that no matter how hard it is, by just looking at my precious ones gives me strength especially if they are giving me hugs and kisses.
These pictures were taken during the Valentines day of 2007 at our home in WV.

Parenting

Good morning/evening everyone! How are you all doing? My son and I just finished eating our breakfast. Hubby and daughter are in school.

Lately, our daughter has this attitude whenever she gets home from school and hubby and I are getting worried about it. We talked to her yesterday and told her that if she doesn't quit doing that, we will have her take some time off from school. I am not sure if that's the right thing to say to her but it seems to work. Before she left this morning, I told her that there should be no more attitude when she comes home from school and she promised that she won't do it again.

I am torn about this because I feel like I am failing my job as a Mom in teaching my kids the right things. I don't want to think that her peers in school have some kind of influence to this attitude because I talked to the teacher and she said that Rylie is doing an excellent job in dealing with other kids. So I don't know where the problem lies. Is it from us? Your honest opinion is greatly appreciated!

Motherhood

The theme this week on Mommy Moment is "Motherhood". When it comes to motherhood my greatest inspiration is my mother because she never gave up on us even though life was so tough on her especially in raising 9 kids without any help. I could never top her hard work and dedication when it comes to raising kids. I love you so much Ma!

Every time I am having hard time with my two kids, I always think about my mother . I always tell myself that if Mama can do it and so can I. I am blessed with a family-oriented husband so when he told me that our priority is our kids, that I can stay at home so I could personally raise them, I was very happy.. still is. I know a lot of friends who would love to be a stay at home mom but they are force to work because they need to. I always thank God for blessing me a good life and for giving me the great career in the Universe, being a MOM!

Apology Accepted

Our little girl was showing us some attitude the other day when we were outside doing our fence. Hubby and I gave her some heart to heart talk and lecture. Daddy said not to come unless she straightened her attitude. She cried and disappeared for a while, when she came back, she gave me a petal of Iris, and said "Sorry".

Apology accepted anak. She was still crying in the photo. See the shadow of the flower in her legs? Perfect for Shadow Shot Sunday entry.

Vacation Bible Study

Hello there folks, how is your Monday so far? I am sleepy over here, I did not sleep good last night because of a separation anxiety. We enrolled our daughter to a Vacation Bible Study for a week which started today. The activities will be carried out in another city so I am having a little difficulty accepting the fact that my little girl is getting big and that she is ready to face other challenges without me wahhhhhh. But I know that it is for her own good, emotionally, socially and spiritually so I just have to deal with it. But anyhow, I woke up early today, prepared her lunch box, gave her a bath and hubby took her to the chapel where the rest of the kids will convene. The lady (thanks Ms. Luisa) who is in charge of their activities today was very kind to call me and let me talked to my daughter. Rylie said that she is having so much fun with the activities they are doing, I just hang up the phone. She did that she will definitely finish the course for the week. Is it just me or you feel the same way with your children?

I'm Ready

My daughter is 3 and 1/2 years old now and she told us that she is ready to go to school. But she don't want to do it here in our present location, she said she want to go to St. Joseph Catholic School. It is the school in our neighborhood where we used to do our family walk in the afternoon during summer. I can't believe that she remember those stuff that we talked about. It is one good thing about talking to your child about things while they are young. Little by little, you are helping them make their own dreams and aspirations in life. Parent's guidance is very important in a child's growing development. That's the backpack that she got during her birthday. she always fills it with her books, crayons, pencils and stuff while playing inside the house.
