photography and music

One of the many interests that both my husband and I shared is music and photography. When I finally migrated to the States, I brought some of my favorite music CD collections. Hubby said that there are Free Sound Effects that we could find online. In fact, we bought several music videos that we love to listen to especially when travelling in the car.

Taking pictures is one of our favorite hobby. When he went to Pusan on July 15 (2008) to take a tour of the USS Ronald Reagan, he took several photos that I like. These were taken from the flightdeck of the USS Ronald Reagan, an awesome aircraft carrier in the U.S. Fleet.
The concrete used in this display onboard the USS Ronald Reagan was a piece actually removed from the Berlin Wall.....pretty cool. I am glad that I get to see some of the beautiful places of Korea. I will sure miss the place. I just wish that I could have met my husband earlier hehehe. He did not take any pictures of the places that he's been on his former assignments.

Sunset

Let's have fun and explore the Sky Watch Friday.
These are the photos that me and my husband took when we watched the sunset at our place in Donsol, Philippines (March 2009). It's funny because everytime we go out our house and go somewhere all the kids follow us everywhere we go, so we kind look like having a procession lol.. It's a very good thing for our kids though, they got to interact with the kids there.

Playing with the Sun

These were taken when we went to Daegu last Augutst(2009).
On our way home, the Sun was teasing me so I played with him too. Here are some of my snapshots. The first one is a circus man, flipping over. Can you see his feet on the left side and his butt on the air lol... His hands are on his knees holding the sun hehehe. This lady is kneeling and she is offering something to the sun, do you see it? This one looks like a puppy is being chased by another puppy.. whatyathink? I love these three... It looks like God flying over us. The following two photos are just the sun hiding in the array of clouds. So there you go my friends, my adventures with the the king sun and the clouds. Have a blessed day to all! Look for this sweet smile. Thank you so much!

Chusok

Yesterday was the start of the Chusok celebration here in the Land of the Morning Calm so we are just staying at home. It's not good to go driving during this big holiday in Korea because most of the people from the City goes home in their home town. chusok is like a Thanksgiving in the US mixed with the All Souls day in the Philippines. They thank and remember their dead ancestors during this holiday. Since we got nothing to do, camera is our best friend. Here are some clicks!
My daughter took this one.. Have a nice weekend everyone, God bless!

Easter Morn

When my husband went to Daegu last week, he bought an easter basket for our little ones. He also bought some other stuff that we added in the basket. After several days of hiding it at his work, he brought it home on Saturday Night so we could surprise the kids on Sunday morning. When our angels woke up, they were very happy to see that the "Easter Bunny" have left them some Easter baskets.
Here's EJ and Rylie with bed heads hehehe.. Rylie exclaimed "Wow, how did the Easter Bunny knows what I Like!" Then after we ate our breakfast, we got ready to go to church and attend the mass. Before we left, we took some pictures of ourselves lol.. And we can't take pictures without Rylie sharing her talentt, so here is her shot of me, Dad and EJ. Happy Monday everyone. Thanks for visiting and commenting!

S is he still cute though and the cool things is she brought me the picture of us together when she was still a baby, so we took a pic again hehehe..

1...2...t'wait!

I never had a hard time taking a picture of our daughter even when she was a baby, she really love posing and smiling in front of the camera. Our son however, is so hard to take a picture with. He doesn't like posing and waiting, so everytime I will take a picture of him, it's always have to be quick or else I won't get the view I want to. Just Like these photos, watch how he tried to run away from her sister who was trying to let him pose with her.
