Dog Preferences

My husband's type of dog contradicts my type. He love English bulldog but I am not fond of it.  We ended up  having a Jack Russel Terrier and this  big one that we  got from our neighbor when he was a pup.  He is a mixed breed with miniature pinscher and a doberman pinscher.
His Dad was a doberman pinscher while his mom was a miniature pinscher.  Bolt is such a loving dog.  He walways a hug from us and always  wants to cuddle with us.
Having dogs is really nice especially when you have kids. The bonding of the pets and kids are  awesome.

Champ's Perseverance

Some fan (lol) is missing Champ in my blog so I am featuring him here. These were taken last weekend when my husband and I played with Champ, we wore him out by throwing the ball back and forth and he also climb on the slide a bunch of times just to get his dog toy.

Champ is a super hyper dog and he constantly wants to play all the time. He never get tired of it.

Here's a video of his perseverance and hardwork lol.

Surgeries and Recovery

Champ & Chelsea's surgeries went well. Champ recovered fast but Chelsea was pretty sore for a couple of days. Dr. David E. Sommerville is their Vet, he is pretty nice. Him and his son owns the Two Ridge Veterinary Clinic in Wintersville Ohio.
We took the kids with us so that they would get involve with taking care of our lovely doggies, this was their first time going there.
They were so concerned about their surgeries. Rylie kept asking if Chelsea is going to be okay.
They were pretty sore after the day of the surgery. Sorry guys, we had to do it, I hope that you understand what we did with you. Having a female dog that is not spayed is a little bit hard because when they are in-heat, they want to run away so they could find a mate. It is also messy especially on the carpet, that is why we decided to have Chelsea spayed.
That's how her surgery looked like after a couple of days passed. Her and Champ are doing alright now.
It cost us $420.55 for both of their surgeries and other vaccination. Hopefully, the insurance will cover most of it. We filed our claim the other day and see what they say about it.

Chelsea.. Our adopted Baby

When we visited my sister-in-law, we found out that a friend rescued a Pomeranian dog from the road and gave it to her. Since she already have four dogs, she was looking for a home who could adopt her. My kids immediately bond with the dog and I also love her because she is so gentle and so cuddly. I asked hubby if we could keep her and he said YES, so I was happy.

Aren't she cute? My sister-in-law called her Spanky but we re-named her Chelsea.
But anyhow, something happened to her today and I am so sad about it. I will continue the story next time folks. It is past 11 already and I feel so tired so its time for me to sign off for now.

Cold Weather

I was born and raised in the tropical country so when I came here in the States, my most undesired season is winter. I don't like going out especially if its snowing. My husband and kids on the other hand love it! They can bear the cold and love to play in the snow. Here are some photos of our son playing in the snow with our dog Champ!

How's the weather at your end?

Our Dog Budik

I thought for sure that our dog Budik in the Philippines wouldn't recognize me anymore after a long time that he did not see me. But to my surprise, he still knew me and was happy to see me. He is still the same as the Budik that I knew a few years back, very sweet and malambing. He aged a little bit because he seems to have a rayuma (athritis) now hehehe.. Here's some photos of our daughter and our lovely dog Budik!
Happy Sunday everyone!
