Otter or Beaver?

I am not sure if these are the Otters or the Beavers.  The place where otters and beavers were placed at Pittsburgh Zoo are close together and I am not very familiar of these two animals.  So you be the judge.

Deer in the Neighborhood

Lately, my daughter is getting obsessed with going for a jog with her Dad. One time, they jog around the neighborhood and went at the back of the church where there's a big football field and saw a herd of deer. So when we were driving home from Dad's, hubby decided to drive by there to see if there are deer in the field. Sure enough, there were four of them in there munching on the grass. They also did not mind us watching them.

Surgeries and Recovery

Champ & Chelsea's surgeries went well. Champ recovered fast but Chelsea was pretty sore for a couple of days. Dr. David E. Sommerville is their Vet, he is pretty nice. Him and his son owns the Two Ridge Veterinary Clinic in Wintersville Ohio.
We took the kids with us so that they would get involve with taking care of our lovely doggies, this was their first time going there.
They were so concerned about their surgeries. Rylie kept asking if Chelsea is going to be okay.
They were pretty sore after the day of the surgery. Sorry guys, we had to do it, I hope that you understand what we did with you. Having a female dog that is not spayed is a little bit hard because when they are in-heat, they want to run away so they could find a mate. It is also messy especially on the carpet, that is why we decided to have Chelsea spayed.
That's how her surgery looked like after a couple of days passed. Her and Champ are doing alright now.
It cost us $420.55 for both of their surgeries and other vaccination. Hopefully, the insurance will cover most of it. We filed our claim the other day and see what they say about it.

Cow....Mooo...

Driving to Tomlinson Run Recreation Park takes about 30 minutes from our house so we have a chance to see different kinds of natural beauties including animals on the way. We passed by a farm with cows in it and the kids got excited so hubby turned around and pulled over on the side so they could see them fully. I was happy too since I got the chance to take some pictures hehehe.

encounter with animals

Would you like to have fun with different kinds of critters, join the Camera Critters.
Our two kiddoes had a blast watching the pigs and chickens at our place when we were in the Philippines. Before our visit, we showed them the pictures that my husband took of me and my brother when I was bathing my mother's pig. So Rylie immediately told us that she wants to bath a pic g too but unfortunately mama don't have any when we came home. So I brought them to our neighbor's piggery and they really had fun watching them.
