Loyal Companion

Our Jack Russel Terrier, Champ, is my loyal companion when I am doing laundry at the basement and when I am gardening outside.
Sometimes, I would scold him for always throwing the ball at me.  He want me to stop and play with him hahaha.
Even when it's raining already, he wouldn't leave me.  That's how loyal  my Champaroo is.
Sometimes I'd like to think that  dogs are more loyal than human.  What do you think?
Have a lovely day everyone.

Canadian Geese

We went to Tomlinson Run the other day and we found so many Canadian geese in there. They thought that we have food for them so they crowded and followed us everywhere we went.
The Burritos remembered the last pack of cracker jack they have in the car so they race in getting it.
Then they fed the hungry  bunch.
It was a good day bonding with messy critters hehehe.

Rabies Shot

Our JRT Champ was due for rabies and other shots so we brought him to the Vet last weekend.  The little guy was so stressed out  when we were driving going to the Vet's clinic but  so calm going home.
This pretty receptionist was just sitting on top of the  reception window at the Vet's  clinic.  I took a picture of her and she posed for me.  Thanks Kitty!
While Champ was taking a damp, saw this  sparrow relaxing on top of the fence.  Love the clematis bloom too.

Butterfly and Wasp

Ms. Burrito used the net that we bought at the store a couple of weeks ago.  She caught one big butterfly.  Don't worry she let it go after  a while.
She just want to see how  butterfly  sucks the nectar.  She picked a dandelion flower and put it in the container together with the butterfly then after she saw how, she let the  butterfly go.
Mr. Burrito on the other hand  got stung by a wasp.  This is the second time he got stung by those beast. I feel bad as it hurts, I know.
It got swollen but after he let the cold pack stay in his palm for a while, it  swelled down.
I hate those wasp.  Hubby already sprayed their house but they kept coming back every year. I wonder if potassium perchlorate will kill them?  Weird thinking eh?  Well, I'm just thinking of ways to kill these  beasts because it seems that the wasp spray doesn't really work.  Anyhow, you guys have a good day!

Backyard Friends

We dropped by at my SIL Cris the other day because my daughter wanted to know the recipe for making paper mache for the craft she want us to do.  Chris and her grand daughter Grace were in the backyard so we went cruising there.
Saw the  shadow of the tree and the Mr. Burrito and  Fat Boy came walking by so it's perfect for shadowy shots!
Little Gracie is such a happy little camper.  She is always  willing to give everyone a smile and a hug!
Here is the project that my daughter  did.
She wanted to attach this two together so we use paper mache in the middle.
It's a paper plate craft that represents her and her brother.

Have a  fabulous Easter everyone!

Weekend Shadows

The Burritos were so good at the church last Sunday so we  dropped by at the store and bought them some crafts to do.  Mr. Burrito insisted to have a squirt toy (he loves any kind of stuff that spits water).
We  visited Dad after church and stayed with him for almost two hours.
Mr. Burrito had so much fun squiting water on his toy while  Ms. Burrito and me did some crafts ( will post it next time).
Every time we  will go somewhere, our 5 year old  daughter volunteers to start the car.
When we came home, we let Wubzy out in the yard.  Unfortunately, I have to catch him after  an hour or so as he started eating my plants that are starting to sprout up wahhh.
Champ also tried to nail Wubzy, good thing I was  keeping an eye on them so I stopped him.

Celebrating St. Patrick

We wore green yesterday to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. And guess who else wore gree? Our Jack Russel Terrier, Champ.

He didn't mind wearing the shirt.  I think he feels weird with clothes on though lol.
Here he is yawning, telline me that the occasion is boring hahaha.
You look handsome in green Champ!

Missing Chelsea

Once in a while, our son misses Chelsea, our former Pomeranian dog whom we gave away to a friend.
She is a very sweet dog but the problem is that she always wants to run away.  Even the new owner  complains about it now.
The good thing that she is gone is that I coud grow my flowers this spring and summer without worrying that it's going to be eaten before they get in full bloom lol.
She really love eating just any kinds of flowers in the garden, eve the dandelions.

Finding Comfort

Mr. Burrito seldom  plays with Champ, but when he got sick, he find comfort in  laying  beside Champ.  The little fella even let him put his legs on top of his back.  Thanks Champ!

Pretty Critter

Took these shots last Spring when we first visit Raccoon Park.  While  hubby and kids were busy dipping in the water, I was busy chasing these  pretty critters because they wouldn't stay very long.  I think this one was drinking water that's why I got the chance to take  shots of her.

Baby Robin

I am longing for spring, it's snowing once again over here, whew!  Below are the photos I took last spring but wasn't able to  post it.  So now is the time since I am craving for some Spring scene.
Those are the baby Robins  from our back porch.  For some reasons, the Robins love to make a nest both from our front and back porch.  Below is the courageous one that flew earlier than the rest.  I think she got startled when I took some pictures of them.  I think the one below will be a good web design logo  for  pet blogs.
She couldn't flew  in full force yet, I was surprise  that he did not break his wing  when he jumped from the high  location of the nest to the ground.
I followed him because that time our then dog Chelsea wanted to chase  and maybe eat him alive.
To my delight, he  kept posing for me hehehe.  I think, he was telling me "Come on Lady, let's just get this over with coz I gotta go" lol.
She reached the corner of our fence then she went out finally.
The whole time that I was guarding the baby Robin from the dog, the mom Robin  was watching me.
Have a good weekend everyone!
