Happy 4th of July

Good morning folks, happy 4th of July. The photos below were taken during the Father's day celebration. We chose to give my FIL a flag to replace the old one in his front yard. We really didn't know what to give him until we passed by at the flag aisle in KMart and I told my husband, that's it! He does need a new flag as he was planning to buy a new and we beat him to it lol. Glad he like it!

Here's my Dad, Dave (my BIL), EJ & Rye, and hubby helping each other to put the new flag.
I read on one of the blog I visited that the 4th of July is being celebrated as the Philippine-American Friendship day in the Philippines to commemorate the liberation of the Philippines from the Japanese invasion through the help of the American team led by Mc. Arthur. He is a one big hero to the Filippinos! Independence day in the Philippines is celebrated in June 12.
Thanks for visiting folks and have a great Sunday.

EJ's Photography

Hubby and I love photography, maybe that is why our two kids are so interested in taking photos too. I was taking photos of my husband while he was installing the shutters in the window and my son kept asking me if he can take a picture of me. So even if it was too hot, I posed for him with a frown lol. Here is our 3 year old's photography skill.

When I was single I used to love my legs but now I have so many peklats (scar) in it that I don't like it anymore. It's actually one of hubs favorite too. But even if I don't qualify for Miss Universe (naks nagarap) , I love ME for being ME hahaha.

Button on the Nose

Some of you might remember when I posted the incident about my daughter inserting a bead inside her nose. I totally freaked out when Rylie stuck a bead in her nose because that time my husband was at work and that was the first that I ever encounter such a thing.

Our son did the same thing. I think he found a button on the floor and insert it in his nose. Last Thursday night, he kept digging his nose and telling us that there is a big boogger there. I cleaned it with q-tip but he wasn't satisfied and said that it's still there. I looked but did not see anything. The next day, he was doing it again and this time I really let him lie down so I could take a good look at his nose. He told me this time that he stuck a button there, I was like "Oh no, not again"

I used a tweezer because the button was way down there. I couldn't get it since the tweezer is too big for his nose. Hubby instructed our son to blow his nose and thank God, he knows how to do it unlike Rylie who freaked out and couldn't do it. It came out a little bit and I was able to pull it out. Thanks EJ, you saved us from going to the hospital. I wonder why kids like to do these things. Does your kids do this stuff too?
