Blooms

Below is the blooms that my clematis plant brings this year. I thought that she won't bloom this year because I transplanted her from one place to another but I was wrong.

It is now in full bloom (haven't uploaded the latest pic I took).

Not sure what kind of flower this one is but I love it.  The flowers are close in the afternoon and opens up again in the morning.

My pink roses are  getting ready to open up the buds too.  I actually one that is opened this morning.  Oh it smells so good!

Crab Apple Finally Blooms

After a long dragged cold-warm-cold weather, our crab apple tree finally bloom.  I took the first three shots last week when  the buds started to come up.

This week, it's in full bloom.

The flowers are starting to come off  actually because of the rain and wind.

Last year, this crab apple and  the apple tree blooms at the same time but this year, the apple hasn't got any buds yet.

Hey folks good morning!  For the ladies out there, I want to ask this question about flowers.  Whenever you receive flowers do you just let it rot or you do something about it?  I used to freeze them  when I was still in Korea to preserve it but then we have to leave so I have to throw them out.  This time, I dried them out and keep it as a souvenir like the one in the photo.  My husband and kids gave me those flowers during mother's day last year.

Creeping Phlox

Before we went to Korea in 2008, my SIL Jill gave me some creeping phlox. I planted them along side our driveway. I did not anticipate that it will grow thick. I saw it's first bloom this year and I love it.

I only have it on one side  so after the flowers were gone.  I replanted some of them on the other side.  I hope that next year, it will bloom again.

Dahlia

Hello everyonbe, how's your Sunday? We just got done eating brunch and we will be getting ready for church. But before that, I want to make this post first. I took these shots when we visited our niece Jen's house a couple of weeks ago for her step-daughter's birthday party. She have beautiful Dahlias in her garden.

My photos doesn't do justice to what it really look like hehehe. But tell me, what is your favorite color in a Dahlia? Me? I love them all as I love Dahlia!

Flowers at Pittsburgh Zoo

Here are some of the photos of the flowers I saw at Pittsburgh Zoo when we went there a couple of weeks ago with Jen and Jim's family. We originally planned to go for a camping but we did not push through because of some unavoidable reasons. We decided to go to the zoo instead so the kids could enjoy watching the different kinds of critters.

Anyhow, the only flower that I recognized here is the marigold. Everything else, I don't have any idea of their names.

Oh I like this bright orange fruit-like bloom from a tree.

And this one too, I think orange looks great when it's around brown and green color. What do you think?

These are inside the PPG Aquarium placed on top of a big rock. 

I like this vine too.

This is on the place where the orangutan's are running around.

Golden Beauty

I saved so many seeds of this flower a couple of years ago and this year, I spread them out in my flower bed. I have so many of them in here. I don't exactly know the name of this flower though. Do you know?

Roses from my Garden

Before our dog Chelsea eat my flower, I took some of the rose in my garden. My yellow rose is doing pretty well this year.

Do you cut your roses too? The roses smells good so I want it's fragrance inside the house.

Mums with a twist

My mum flowers are in full bloom now. I saw this old weed flower on top of it and took a pic. Isn't it pretty? If you guys want to plant a less maintenance flowers, mum is the way to go. They come back every year and their bloom is gorgeous!

Hydrangea

I love the hydrangea at my FIL's neighbor. They looks so pretty as they have various colors in 'em. Here's some snaps I took, aren't they lovely?

Yellow Rose

The yellow rose in my garden is doing really great this year. Do you want to know my secret?..... Coffee Grounds.... Instead of throwing away the coffee ground at your coffee maker, save it and put it in your flower garden, it makes a good fertilizer.

Another good fertilizer is our dog's poop (opps sowi).. But it's true, I always bury them in my flower garden.

Pretty in Pink Lily

I took this photo at my SIL Chris's garden. Isn't lily pretty in pink? I love all kinds of lilies, they are gorgeous when they bloom.

Mulch

We went to Lowe's yesterday to buy the water sealer for the fence. I also bought two bags of mulch and put it in my garden in front of the house. I got tired of the weeds that keeps coming back over and over again. so there, it looks better with mulch anyway.

These are the flower seeds that I am growing. I did not buy any flowers this year in the store as I did not have savings for it. Hopefully this will grow faster before the heat of the sun become intense. The seeds by the way, are the seeds from my previous plants, I did not buy them.

Peonies & Chelsea

Our female Pomeranian dog, Chelsea, love to eat flowers. She eats every dandelion that she could find in our yard. When my flowers in the garden started to bloom, she started eating it too. Here's my peonies when it's just starting to bloom.

Yesterday, we were all outside and we let the the dogs loose, Chelsea tore up three big peonies and started eating it, so I put her on a leash before she could eat all my pretty blooms.

I think that the peonies are sweet because ants love them and our little missy here has a sweet tooth too.

You can see on the fourth shot how she tore up three stems just to get the flowers.

I love the blooms of peonies because they smell good and they're gorgeous!

I have white and pink of them. which do you think is prettier. I love the red shade on the white one but I love the color pink too.
