Choke Hold

Seeing the news about the guy  who died  because of the choke hold that the police have applied when he   resisted arrest scares me.  I have a lot of respect for the police because  they put their lives on the line  to protect  the people they serve.  Sometimes, accident like this happen.  I think that if the guy  have listened and did not resist the arrest, he could have still alive.  The police on the other hand,   should have listened when the guy was saying that he couldn't breath.

On the lighter note, let me share these random photos that I took  when we were at Oxcean City  a couple of weeks ago.
It's amazing  to see people are swimming already as early as 7  o'clock down there.

Head Rush at Splash Town

This is one of the water  feature at Splash Tow, called Head Rush.  Our friends took our daughter to do this slide and she was  ecstatic.  This is where your head  goes first.  For sure, this is not  what I would dare to try hahaha.

Heights is definitely not my cup of tea although I love water  but when it is to high already, forget it lol.  Yeah, I am a big chicken.

Air Force Area

Taken at at the Air Force area last Wednesday when we got our new IDs. If you know this tower, you know where we at in PA..
I was inside the car when I took this shot so it's kind crooked. Gotta have a shot of the three important people in my life.
Hubby spotted this Canadian goose so he stopped and gave me an opportunity to take a picture of it, thanks Hon!

God's beautiful Creation

Here are some of the beautiful sceneries that we enjoyed viewing while driving going to Pittsburgh last weekend. Too bad, I couldn't get a shot of those beautiful birds that I saw on the way. We are planning to go to Oakdale tomorrow morning to have our military IDs replaced. My husband's DD214 has finally arrived the other day, thanks God for that!

Hopefully the weather will be beautiful again so we won't have any problem and the kids will enjoy the drive.

Surprise Visit

My husband and I brought the GPS navigating system that we bought last December (my gift for him) in going to Maryland. We also brought with us an address of his youngest Aunt Carol who lives in the said State. He said that if the location is near to where we will pick up the car, we will drop by and pay them a surprise visit. So after we finally picked up the car, we punched in Aunt Carol's address and presto, it is just a mile and half distance from where we were.
It is so nice to meet another relative of my husband. aunt Carol and her daughter Ladonna are very nice and kind. These were taken at the gas station before we finally drove home. Here's Aunt Carol and her daughter with hubby and me.
Sorry guys for the unannounced visit. We hope to see you again soon. Below is a shot that I took of my husband when we got off from the airport in Maryland. A perfect color for Ruby Tuesday isn't it?

May you have a great Tuesday folks.

A Walk to Remember

Walking is one of my family's favorite past time and bonding as well. We love going to the beach, park, or lake to have our exercise while we enjoy the scenery and have each other's company. Even if it is hard for us to go on mountain hiking with the kids, we joined some people here in climbing the Mt. Jiri and Seorak San last year. For

this year, we went to Jeju but did not join the mountain climb because we decided to just enjoy the ocean. If you want to find a great place for walking holiday and sight seeing, visit Macs Adventure at macsadventure.com. They have beautiful locations in their list that you can go to. on the countryside. They have so many outstanding choices for walking, mountain biking, trekking, cycling, and group adventure holidays in Scotland, the north of England and Europe. How I wish we could go there someday and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Nature adventure is one of the many activities that I will never get tired of doing, I would do it again and again if given a chance. The pictures on this post were taken when we went up to Jiri San.

Legendary Volcano

This was taken during our second day in Jeju when we first explore the Lotte's beautiful garden. This one is taken from the legendary volcano. The Koreans believe that when it erupted a spirit came to life and remain in the said volcano which served to be the care taker of the place. (Pardon if the information is not too accurate, it is just based from what I remembered on the thing that I read).
On our last night of stay, they had a Volcano Fountain show. I wasn't able to take the dragon that emerged from the water though. The chip of my camera was full already. This is the only one that I captured.
Have a good day everyone!

Jungmun Beach in Jeju Island

It was already sundown when I discovered the way going to the Jungmun Beach as I explored the rest of the Lotte Hotel's place. I came back to the hotel to wake my sweeties who were taking nap and we head up to the beach. You can find the beautiful views of the beach on my other etcetera blog.
Rylie took this one. This was our share of not going to the mt. Halla hike hehehe. Going down to the beach is easy but man, it was hard going up lol.. Here we are enjoying the water. Rylie building her sand volcano hehehe. There's more to this post, so don't forget to drop by at my other blog. Seeyah there!

Island Hopping # 4

After we roamed around the vast and beautiful place of the Lotte Hotel, my sweethearts got sleepy so they all took nap. I wasn't able to take a cat nap so I went out and took pictures of the gorgeous landscape of the hotel. I saw a Korean couple watching the show of the boats in the ocean and they were taking pics of each other so I offered to take a picture of them, which they are very thankful for. And the guy Offer to take a picture of me but I invited his wife/girlfriend to pose with me lol..
My sweetie pies missed this beautiful boat parade. The Dungcha Windmills. A paradise view of the hotel. Most of the hotel's pictures were posted at my dear hubby's blog. So you might wanna check 'em out there. I have lots of pictures so I will post some more later hehehe.

Memorial Island Hopping #3

The highlight of of our trip in Jeju-do is the hike going up to Mt. Halla but we didn't go with the rest of the group because it will be very hard for us to carry EJ. So we just explored the beautiful Lotte Hotel where we stayed. it's surrounding is spectacular, the landscape that they invested in this hotel is phenomenal to me. You may want to take a look how beautiful the hotel is,, in my dearest hubby's blog. These photos were taken in the planetarium in front of the hotel. I think this is a wedding area where couple pronounce their vows.
These were taken in front of the hotel where the beautiful water fountains are. The main gate of the Lotte hotel. Some more coming up folks so tune in..
