Birthday Photos

The theme for Mommy Moment this week is birthday photos so here's the line up in our family.
The men celebrated their birthdays this year just at home.  On hubby's birthday, it was only Dad  that's with us but with Mr. Burrito, we invited  friends and families.
My birthday last year which we  spent by taking a walk at the park.  Below is Ms. Burrito's birthday last year.
Last but  not the least, the Cottrill family would like to  greet Akesha a happy happy birthday.  May God bless you with good health and lots of happiness sweetie.

Fun at the Creek

Aside from the huge yard that John's Aunt has down hoopie, there's also a small creek near her house. We had so much fun running around chasing the kids and exploring the creek.
My hubby has told the kids many stories about playing in the same creek when he was a child. He was very fond of catching crayfish and salamanders.
He really enjoyed showing the kids the various types of wildlife living in and around the creek. I'm just glad we didn't see any black snakes, cottonmouths, or copperheads.
Rylie had a blast throwing rocks in the still water, a job usually held by EJ.

I grew up on a farm, so I experienced all of this stuff. For my kids, this is a fun and exciting learning adventure because they don't normally see these things at home.

Thanks for visiting.

Motherhood

The theme this week on Mommy Moment is "Motherhood". When it comes to motherhood my greatest inspiration is my mother because she never gave up on us even though life was so tough on her especially in raising 9 kids without any help. I could never top her hard work and dedication when it comes to raising kids. I love you so much Ma!

Every time I am having hard time with my two kids, I always think about my mother . I always tell myself that if Mama can do it and so can I. I am blessed with a family-oriented husband so when he told me that our priority is our kids, that I can stay at home so I could personally raise them, I was very happy.. still is. I know a lot of friends who would love to be a stay at home mom but they are force to work because they need to. I always thank God for blessing me a good life and for giving me the great career in the Universe, being a MOM!

Hot Rods

Both of our kids love going somewhere so travelling with them is not a problem at all unless it will take so many hours. Hubby and the kids are all hot rods or gas butt because they just love to go somewhere.

This battery operated Ferrari is their favorite rides in the basement during winter. (Photos were taken two years ago).

A remembrance of being in Korea. They miss being in the mall there because of the play area.
I snagged these from hubby's blog. These are my husband's car collections when he was a kid, FIL gave it to EJ when we came back from Korea.
These are EJ's collection.

Our favorites...

The theme for this week's Mommy Moment is "That's my favorite" where you can post photos of your children with their favorites.

The blanket that EJ was using as a pillow Was Rylie's baby blanket. EJ can't sleep without it. We have to bring it everywhere we go or else he wont be able to sleep. His most favorite toy is the sword, he also sleeps with it hehehe.

The set of outfit that Rylie is wearing in this picture is her favorite. She wants to wear it everyday.

EJ's favorite style of fashion when we were in PI (shirt-less) and favorite past time (digging the sand).

Their favorite past time in the Philippines.
Their favorite cousins and playmate in the Philippines, my late brother's daughters Yami and Bhim.
EJ's favorite bonding with Mommy when he was an infant.
Daddy's favorite picture with EJ.
Her favorite pony in our basement, her Tita Chris gave this to her.
Favorite bonding with Daddy during winter time, riding a sled.
Rylie's Favorite cuz and playmate in the States
Rylie's favorite Tita (Aunt)
This is her favorite care bear stuff toy.

I have so many more photos of their favorites but I am tired of digging into our photo archives lol. Thanks a lot for coming by folks, your visits are always highly appreciated.

Treasured Pictures

Hi there folks, it is Friday once again, another exciting entry for Mommy MOments. The theme for this week is treasured pictures. This is why I am a little bit late for my entry because I have a hard time figuring out which photos should I post. Actually all the pictures that I took is a treasure to me but unfortunately I have to pick the most meaningful ones. Here are my entries.

This is the only picture I have of my parents when they were still dating. Who do you think I look like. The folks from our place say that I look exactly like Mama.

I love this picture of hubby and Rylie, look so sweet!

Rylie's sweet bonding wit Pap Pooch!

Reading time with Mommy and Daddy

My husband is probably going to kill me with tickles (I am ticklish) when he sees this hahaha. The guy on the left side is John. I think the name of their band was Grafitti.

This is a photo of John's Dad and Mom with his sister Crystal and her daughter Jen. The ornery looking boy is my husband, now you know why EJ is very ornery lol.

I Love this photo because it is one of those moments where my husband and two lil' ones are bonding together. This was taken last year's July 4th celebration when we watched the fireworks display in KOrea.

A peaceful bonding. Now they are like cat and dog hahaha, always growling at each other.

Taken at the hospital when I gave birth to EJ.

Just having fun with Mommy's silly joke hehehe..

My first time experiencing Winter time.

Alrighty folks, thanks a lot for peeking at my entry!
