Easter Lily Shadows

My SIL gave my FIL a pot of easter lily last Easter celebration. I took advantage of aking pictures of it when I aw it's shadows.
He actually received two pots but he gave one to Ms. Burrito. The latter  planted it  at the side of Mama Mary's grotto.
Wish I could have a DSLR camera so I can take some  good macro shots.  My camera doesn't take good macro shots, this is the best I could get.  When you zoom it in full, it gets so blurry.
Oh well, maybe someday!
Advance happy Mother's Day to all the Moms.  I got two  presents from my daughter  today.  Thanks Anak, I love 'em!

Crab Apple Finally Blooms

After a long dragged cold-warm-cold weather, our crab apple tree finally bloom.  I took the first three shots last week when  the buds started to come up.
This week, it's in full bloom.
The flowers are starting to come off  actually because of the rain and wind.
Last year, this crab apple and  the apple tree blooms at the same time but this year, the apple hasn't got any buds yet.
Hope you guys are enjoying your day!

Short Bangs

That's how short she cut her bangs lol. It actually grew a little bit already but it was so high that I got upset when I saw it. Good thing, hair grows so fast.
I guess I need to hide when I cut my own hair so she won't copy me lol.
Yes, we cut our own hair here at home.  It's a big savings through out the year.
How about you, do you go to a hair salon every time you need a haircut?

I took some shots of these beautiful paintings at a Chinese Resto last weekend.
Which piece do you like, do you have a favorite among the four?

Personalized Card and Flowers

Ms. Burrito made a personalized card for their Uncle Dave. We brought it when we visited him last Saturday at UPMC Pasavanth.  Remember the  pipe cleaners that we turned into flowers?  She decided to  give that to Uncle Dave instead of real flower.
We  encouraged Dad to go with us that day.  He did not want to go because it's a long drive  but then me and the kids persuaded him so he went. He thanked us for bringing him  as he was able to talk to Dave and learn for himself about  his condition.  It also made Dave very happy that day.  According to my brother-in-law, he will be released  sometime this week.  I hope that  the remaining cancer that invaded in his liver will be  cured through chemo.  Thank you all for your prayers!
