After the Mass on Christmas Eve

We were not able to attend the get together at my FIL's home on Christmas Eve because of the  mass but we visited him later that night.  The kids were delighted for the gifts that were waiting for them at Dad's.
Thanks  Titas for the  gifts!  My NIL Jen  gave the kids this Nok Hockey set and Ms. Burrito seemed addicted to it already.  Thanks Chris, Gail, Jen and Jim, Lee's family, Michelle, and Dad for the  gifts!

Butterflies

Originally posted on July 9, 2008 when we were still in Korea.

My daughter and I were sitting in our front porch and we saw these butterflies that look exactly the same. They were devouring the nectar on our flowers, i hurried up and took some pictures.. I was waiting for them to land together but it seems like they have LQ lol!

Biking

On Christmas Day, we brought the bike that my son got from "Santa" and both of the Burritos rode it in front of my FIL's house. Ms. Burrito wished that she could have ask for a bike rather than green machine. We did bought her a bike after Christmas but it was broken so we returned it to the store.
The last couple of days   was very cold but today, we are in 40s so it is  a little better. Link your favorite color through Color Connection every Friday at Ms. Burrito's blog.

YOUTH

Yuletide season is over but the joy  still continues  especially with the presence of YOUTH just like these two Burritos.
Just our normal thing during New Year, visiting my FIL  and spending   some quality time with him.  I hope and pray that  he would still be around in  more years to come.
Young and old should always celebrate the new year with cheer!  The happy Burritos with their  almost 90 -year old Pap!  Another great thing to thank for, that God has given   my FIL a long life.
Stay YOUNG,  smile or laugh often!

Spirit of Giving

The kids wanted to get us some presents out f the money they have saved from their piggy banks so we brought them at the Robinson Mall, a couple of days before Christmas.  Before we  went to the store, we   let them play first at the germ pit (that's what  my husband called the play area lol).  I make sure that I  always bring   hand sanitizers when we  go out the house so the kids can   clean their hands after  playing.
Hey had  a funb time playing with other kids.
After they played, we went shopping and then we ate  lunch at the food court.  It was a nice day for all of us.  I'll post the presents they got us later.  I am glad that  our kids  already knows the spirit of giving at  their young ages.
May all of us have a prosperous new year!  share your favorite color with me through Color Connection every Friday!
