Volleyball and Badminton Set

Remember the new badminton set that I bought at a yard sale for $5? Hubby and I set it up at our backyard and the kids love it.
The little wants to play volleyball while the little Miss wants to play badminton.  We have to alternate playing the two so everyone is happy.
The shuttlecocks  got stock on top of the crab apple tree.  I shook the branch but the shuttlecock did not fell so I climbed to get it.
We play with it every day.  The only problem we have is our pup who love to chew the strings that  keeping the posts up.
Having a decent yard is great especially if you have kids and  pets.

Relaxing Sunday

The photos below were taken last Sunday after we got out from church. We decided to take the kids to the park at Marland Heights before we visit Dad.
Ms. Burrito wasn't feeling really well that day, we figured that if she  gets  enough fresh air that she will be okay, and she did!  A relaxing Sunday  spent in nature  and family, just perfect!
Let me tell you  some Q-things  about me.  I am a quiet type, I am not good  with quarrels, I used to be quick-tempered but I think that I am getting better at it now.
It is so nice to  spend quality time with  family especially your kids.  They grow up so fast and soon they will leave  your care and have their own  lives.  Hubby and I wants to  enjoy the  moment  that we have now with them.

Wacky Wheel

While Ms. Burrito love  fast rides, Mr. Burrito is the opposite.  He chooses the rides that are slow.  He wanted to try this Wacky Wheel ride so we let him.  Ms. Burrito did not want this one so we went to the Lil' Phantom and Daddy stayed with Mr. B.
This is a classic kiddie Ferris wheel. It has 6 cars shaped like cages.

Kennywood

My daughter's school  has organized a picnic  for the families in Kennywood.  The scheduled date was on  June 1st but it rained that day so we did not go.  We went  the next day instead, although we did not go with the other families from the school, we still had a blast.
To purchase the tickets from the entrance gate, it costs $38.99 each  but since we bought ours in school, it only cost $26 each.
The first thing we tried was the merry-go-round.
This is the water fountain at the entrance.   More photos coming up in my future posts.
We watched the  Miss USA pageant the other night and the one we were cheering for is Ms. Rhode Island .  She won and crowned the  2012 Miss USA.  Congratulations to Ms. Olivia Culpo and good luck to your future endeavors.
Winner: Olivia Culpo, 20, from Rhode Island won the title of Miss USA on Sunday night during the live broadcast

Snake on the Tree Trunk

Daddy was not in the mood  for walking  the other day because it was too hot, so I took the Burritos in the park.  We had a blast once again.

The Burritos made me a dandelion ring.

Look what we saw on this tree trunk, doesn't it look like a snake?  Pretty neat!
Even though it was hot, they wanted to try this  toy car that  was displayed in an ice cream parlor.
Have a fabulous week ahead everyone!

Healthy Family Bonding

Another ordinary but fun-filled day for us to enjoy mother nature. We all went to Mary Weir Memorial Park.
Our son has grown up physically and emotionally. Last year, he would go for a walk with us  but  whenever we are going home, he would ask us to carry him,  but now he walks like a big man.
There is this big tree with a V shape trunk and we love climbing on it.
Looking for some bugs is what they really love to do in the woods.
What I love about going for a walk is  the fresh air, beautiful flowers, lovely critters, and  most especially the time we spend for each other.  It's a healthy family bonding during summer time.
