Mums

The school where our daughter goes has a project of selling sarris chocolates. Our goal is to have at least over a hundred dollars of order. We visited SIL and she ordered some. I saw this mums in front of our house. It's in full bloom. I have maroons but she have like a combination of yellow and orange.
The last two shots were taken in different time interval.  Light really is a vital factor to have a beautiful photo.  Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

Church Wedding Anniversary

It all started with a simple hello on the screen
a short message.... and a brief reply

then friendship bloomed... a love affair...

And today we are blessed with love and life as ONE!

Six years today, we solemnly renewed our vows in church.
Six years today, I am the happiest bride you'd see
Six years today, we promised to love each other forever
Six years today, I am glad that you asked, will you marry me again!

When we first got married (seven years ago), it was a very simple rite at our municipal hall, we did not  have time to prepare and celebrate as my father died unexpectedly.  My mother  encouraged to pursue of what we planned anyway because  that was what my father wanted.  Before I migrated here in the States, my husband wanted to give me a proper wedding ceremony so that my family back home  would  witness our love for each other.  Thank you HON for making my dreams come true, I love you!

Indoor Plants

I don't like seeing my plants die outside because of the cold weather so I took some of them and brought it inside such as the daisies on the pots, wandering jew, taro plant, lemon grass, and the basil. I am not sure if they will survive inside the house but it seems that they are doing pretty well.
The chinese bamboo that my very good friend Shy has given me. It's getting  taller and thicker hehehe.  I bought some taro roots to cook but then I forgot about it so I put it in a pot and it's now growing.
I am really disappointed that I can't see Brad Pitt on the  film shooting that they are doing over here in our town.  So since I couldn't find him, I'll just go to bed for now hahaha.  Goodnight everyone!

Pumpkin Carving

Hello everyone, I just had now the time to  open my PC and do some reading of your comments, thanks a lot!  We were out the whole day.  We went to the mall, grocery store, and visited  Dad Pooch.  When we came back, we got busy with the pumpkin that we bought.  This is our first time to carve, we didn't do it from the previous years because the kids were still small and wouldn't be able to grasp the concept of the activity.
Now that they can participate, we tried and we had so much fun!
Rylie  designed one of the pumpkins and hubby did the other one.  After he cut out the head/top, Rylie  removed the seeds and other stuff while Mommy was busy taking photos.
Rylie wanted to  carve a pumpkin that looks like Sandy (the squirrel from Sponge Bob), so she drew a face with buck teeth in it lol..
Do this looks like Halloween? Lol!
The youngest burrito tried to help too.
But he said, it's too hard lol!
What can you expect when Daddy goofs around?  The daughter also goofs around.. LOL!
This would be great for pigs.  We used to cook this for our pigs.
Today is very special to us since this is our first pumpkin carving and also the 10-10-10.  We were also blessed with warm weather for a couple of days now so thank God for that.  Have a lovely start of the week, hope everyone had a blessed Sunday!

Change - Week Two

I did not do any sit ups and crunches last week because Lady in Red prevented me to (Good excuse lol). I had cramps and I really did not feel like doing any exercise. However, I went for a 15-minute walk at my FIL's neighborhood and I actually sweat a lot even if it was cold. Another thing that helps my exercise goal is by walking with my daughter in going to and from school instead of driving.  Are you with us in shedding off some unwanted  fats?  Join us by clicking the badge below.

These activities gave me an opportunity to see the beautiful sunrise.

Have a good night everyone, gotta go to bed now.  Thanks for dropping by!
