Peekaboo

My daughter is a daddy's girl. She always wants an alone time with her Dad. She is closer to him than me as we are a total opposite for moist stuff.  Sometimes he would ask her Dad to go for a walk just so  they could have a Daddy-Daughter bonding without   me and my son.  My son on the other hand is a Momma's Boy.

Anyway, here are  some photos my husband took of   our daughter when they went for a walk last month. Playing peekaboo.

I always ask my husband to take the camera whenever they go out without me so I won't miss the moment even if I wasn't with them, I can still see what they did.

Hand and Foot Prints

When the construction team was pouring the cement at our porch, we let the kids have their hand and foot prints on the concrete before it dried out.
Ms. Burrito  used her hand while Mr. Burrito   used his foot.
I am so glad that the  construction of our new porch is finally done!  It took them  11 weeks to finish it but it's worth the wait since  our home looks  better now without the crumbling front porch in sight.  I was going to  post a picture of the  porch but I just did not have enough time.

Once again, thanks everyone for the Prayers!

CSN Stores has it ALL!

I'm sure if you are a regular reader of my blogs, you have seen or read my post about this pretty set of plates with caddy iron stand that my very good friend Dhemz has given me. She bought this from CSN out of the prize that she got from a giveaway sponsored by CSN Stores. CSN has over 200 stores listed in their site so whatever you are looking for, you can find it there. I think I am getting addicted to browsing their selection of beautiful products. What I like about them is that, most of the products will be shipped for free to Canada and US, a great savings you could get for shipping cost.

I have posted about the New Stand Mixer that I got for free from CSN at my Kitchen blog. My husband love to bake sweets so he is enjoying this baby so much. I also mentioned in my post that my next project would be a mailbox because the old one that we got is all tore up. Some kid punks stole the flag and it is rotten old as it was the mailbox of the former owner of the house when we bought it.

I tell you, CSN has the most fast shipping that I have experience with my online shopping. We ordered this mailbox on August 1 and the next day, they notify me that they already shipped the item. It's the same way with the mixer too. My husband was really surprised when he saw the mailbox because he was expecting less of a quality but it was a pretty heavy duty one. His words were " I am impressed"!.
I got the mailbox for almost free too plus a free shipping offer, ain't that awesome? I am very thankful to CSN for helping me out get the stuff I need for less. Anyhow, hubby made a wooden post for it so we won't have to buy one. Post cost more than a hundred bucks (the fancy one) so we just decided for him to make one out of wood which was available in our garage. You have to make ways to save you know. Above was the unpainted wooden post. I planted some plants around it and it looks real nice. Way better than the old rotten one that we had.

This is it how it looks now (above photo). My husband is now painting the numbers that my SIL (thanks Chris) made to be put in the post. Over all, I am a satisfied customer of CSN Stores. Try to visit the site folks, they have such a nice listing of stuff from their stores and great deals on it too.

We Need a Shed

We looked at the available shed at Busy Beaver the other day and the kids had so much fun running around inside it. Our garage is pile up with things so we really need a shed to trim off the stuff we have in our garage. They are a little expensive though so hubby is planning to just build it himself.
Here's EJ acting silly hehehe.
My sister-in-law Chris said that she has a pattern on how to make one so hubby want to try it.

Installing the Gates of the Fence

Hello everyone, how is the start of your week? Mine was busy, I just now have the time to open my blog and make some update. We went to Lowe's today and bought the water sealer that we will apply on the inside part of the fence. Below are the pictures when hubby and I, with the help of Dad, installed the gates. We did not buy a ready made gate because it was a little expensive.

My husband just made tow gates out of the panels that we bought.

Now that our fence is up, I am glad because the kids can just play at the back without me worrying that some bad people will harm them. The deers also can't access with my flowers anymore, the only problem is that my dog Chelsea loves eating all of the flowers she can't find wahhhhh.

We used solid stain outside the fence to hide the grains of the wood and we will be using clear and natural look of stain inside. Hubby will use a sprayer inside to finish it quicker. Will post the painted fence net time.
