Canvas Press, a Way to Preserve Memories

Having two  children is  fun but quite  challenging.  They are always  competing with each other with everything.  So every time, I  get  one of them something, I have to get  the other the same.  Just like when I ordered a charcoal painting  for  my son, I also had my daughter's picture done by  a different  artist because the  artist where I ordered my son's portrait cost so much.  Unfortunately, the artist that did my daughter's is working in Dubai and won't be home till next year so he said that he won't be able to send it from there.

So when I  put my son's  painting on the wall, she  told me that it isn't fair that she doesn't have one next to him.  Luckily, I thought of  ordering her painting  as a canvas print from Canvas Press.  I am glad that it arrived  before her 8th birthday as she is very happy about it.  I love how they securely pack their  canvas prints (as you can see in the photos below).  I also love the  thickness of the  frame.
As you can see, she couldn't wait till I can hang the canvas  next to his brother's portrait.

Canvas Press  make another  great addition to our  family wall of canvas prints. They have a very user-friendly tool  at their website so creating your  order is  easy.  The pricing is affordable and I can  say that, Canvas Press is another  great company to  preserve  memories through their canvas prints.
Oh I love this smile of joy and I owe  it to Canvas Press,   the company that  provides high quality  canvas print.  IN fact, they call QUALITY  their middle name.
They had a great idea to turn the packaging into fun.  MY son said that it would make a big  car garage shop, so that's what they did.  Look at the photos below.  I took the photos when they were just designing the garage but they made an elaborate one which I forgot to take picture of.
So thank you so much Canvas Print for helping me fulfill my daughter's wish of having her charcoal portrait be on the wall through your quality-made canvas print!   Preserving memories through Canvas Press is very easy so  make sure to check them out through the link I have provided above .

My little lady, Ms. Burrito, is turning 8 years old  this Sunday.  Happy birthday  my  darling princess, we love you so much!

Life Begins at....

On the day I turned 40, we woke up so early to  catch our flight  going to Texas.    I am just glad that my kids are a real trooper, they  were ready when we woke them up at  3 o'clock in the morning.
@Pittsburgh Airport waiting for our flight to Chicago
It was raining when we land  to Chicago
Our connecting flight from Pittsburgh to Chicago took 1 and 1/2 hours.  I regret  that I did not let my kids wear jackets as it was so cold on the plane.  I was  literally shaking.  Our flight from Chicago to San Antonio was a bit longer, 2 hours and 35 minutes.  We were greeted at the airport by the Dias  Family.
Love the  bouquet they gave me and the welcome sign is  just too sweet!

The Dias Family were so  thoughtful and sweet to  threw a party for me.  We had dinner at their home.

A Huge  Thanks to the Dias Family  for  making our stay in Texas extra   memorable.  I could not  ask for more  for a better birthday celebration.  So is it true that life begins at 40?  For me, my life begins when I  married my husband and have kids of my own!  Life then and now is just  wonderful!

Father's Day 2013

At our home, everyday is a Father's day because my husband make sure to spend time with our kids everyday.  Even if he is very tired from work, he still plays with them when he comes home that is why our Burritos are very close to him.
We had a simple celebration of Father's Day this year.  We woke up early and went to my  father-in-law's house.  Me and my daughter cooked breakfast and we ate  breakfast with  him.  We seldom  do that so  that made  Dad really happy.  He told me the other day that we should go over to his house again and cook for him.
After we spent some time with Dad, we went to the Kennel and got our dogs.  When we came home, I cooked dinner for us instead of going out to a restaurant to avoid  the crowd.

The kids also made a  personalized card for their Dad and I added  some touch to the card that I bought for him.  I put some petals of the roses that I received from a friend during my birthday onto his card and he loves it.  I also replaced the photo on the card and  put   a photo of him and the kids.

We completed our celebration with a family bike ride.

How about you, how was your Father's Day celebration?

Blog Break

I am on blog break but  scheduled this post so my blog won't  be lonely while I am away hehehe.
Details of our getaway  will be  shared  when we come back in a week.  Thank you so much for  dropping by and leaving some thoughts.

I took a  whole week of break from my blogs and when I came back, it was hard for me to start again lol.  I got used to not using the PC but I have to admit, I miss  it.  I have piles of products to review but it seems that the time is slipping  away from my hands everyday and I can't accomplish the things I want to.  It's hard to find time now that my kids are off from school, they constantly wants to do  things so we are always busy.

Boat Coffee Table

My husband love this boat coffee table at the Turtle Cove resto. Every time we would go there to eat, he would always say something about it. He is planning to buy one of this before we go back to mainland, he want to put this in our family room where the theme of the design is Asian with sailor concept on it. Doesn't it look cute?
