Household Chores

Does your child/children  helps you with household chores?  Just from my observation, not all kids is willing to help in the household  chores but with proper  guidance,  your child would  learn how to help you  without you imposing it.
Mr. Burrito is my little helper at home when his  sister is at school. He likes to help  in washing the dishes everyday.  The key is their willingness in doing it.  If you impose it, they would resist.  So I always ask them if they want to help and I always get a positive response which makes me very happy.  Another favorite chore they love to do is  laundry.  Sometimes, we do our math lesson and organizing skill with this  household chore.

Simply Alice Bracelet

I received the prize that Ms. Burrito won from a giveaway over at Mary's blog a couple of weeks ago.  I was a little disappointed though because we ordered the black one but they sent us the grey one.  It's still beautiful though, I just wish that they could have send us the  color that we want.
I didn't fool returning it because we got it   for free anyway so I can't complain too much ... wink.  Anyhow,  if you want to find  chic  gift ideas, check out Shabby Apple website as they have a great collection of  elegant accessories.
This Grey/blue fresh water pearls bracelet is  finished with a cream satin bow. It has metal chain and lobster clasp for easy removal without compromising the perfect bow.  It  measure 8” inches at furthest link.  This is handmade in the USA.
The bracelet is the new addition to the  accessories collection that I have in my jewelry box.  I seldom wear  any of those  but I would love to preserve just in case my daughter would love this kind of stuff when she grow up.  Granted  they are not  expensive pieces but it would be a memorable  keepsakes for her.  I am linking this post to the NEWEST meme I discovered, the Alphabet Thursday.

Homemade Treats from Tita

My sister-in-law gave the kids some valentine treats. She put it in a heart-shaped box which he personally made from a cardboard box and covered it with cloth.  She made all  the goodies inside the  hearty box, the cookies,  chocolate candies, and more home made treats.  Thanks a lot Tita Chris!
Butch had some fun time  bonding with the Burritos.  It is so much fun to celebrate valentine's day with family and fur friends.
Ms. Burrito made this card  for me.  Thanks Anak!
Have a great week ahead everyone.

Snowy Weekend

Snow poured on us last Saturday and this morning.  We brought  Mr. Burrito to the doctor then we visited my FIL afterwards.
The Burritos won't pass this opportunity to   go sled riding with their Dad.
Hubby baked a cake  after the sled ride fun  and Ms. Burrito  put the icing on.
Ms. Burrito played  piano a little bit and Mr. Burrito on the other hand swept Pap's  walkway.
How about you guys?  How's the weekend at your end?

Miniature Roses

Hubby gave me a pot of miniature roses for valentine's day, thanks a bunch hon!  I preferred this miniature roses over the fresh cut flowers because with the former, I can grow them.  I have  five different kinds of miniature roses  in my garden and they come back every year  which reminds me of every occasion that hubby got me those.
Mr. Burrito went with his dad in the  store and he bought a  heart shaped cookie for his sister and an almond joy for me and for him lol.

I love you  with all my heart Mr. C.!
I hope that this baby won't die in my care but it looks like they are healthy so hopefully I could make them live till summer where I can plant them  in my garden.

On the other note, I wish my husband a happy birthday!  May God grant you  a long and healthy life.  Thank you for being the best Dad and husband!
