Here are some more of the photos I took when I saw the flock of seaguls in front of the parking area. Enjoy them!

Sled Riding
Our kids asked us if we could take them sled riding at Pap's side yard. so we took them the other day after my husband's school. We did not stay outside very long because the snow was so deep that it was so hard for us to walk on the snow.
Thanks for dropping by folks. I want to share the Friday Follow with you. Hope you can join us for fun!

Simple Things are Treasures
My sister-in-law drove by our house and left her cards for my kids on the night of the 13th. Thanks Chris, you are the sweetest Valentine's fairy there is.
When we went to the mall last Saturday, my husband kept asking me what do I want for Valentine's day even if I already told him a gazillion times that I don't need anything. He even stopped by at Victoria's Secret but again I insisted not to get me any. For me a card is more than enough!
Here's the message:
We've shared a lot of happiness,
We've seen dreams come true,
And every now and then
we've had our share of worries, too...
But everyday our love has grown
Still deeper than before,
And with each passing year
I know I'll love you even more
I will always love you Hon forever and ever.
Hubby
See simple things are the best treasure there is!
From California With LOve
A very good friend Dhemz of the My Life's Perception & Inspiration sent us some goodies that she brought with them when they had their vacation from the Philippines. We loved all of them! Ubos na actually yung sweets lol.
Satisfying my Cravings
Being away from my origin country is hard especially when it comes to the food that you used to eat. I crave for them sometimes. Good thing hubby is a great provider, whenever we go to the asian store, he would let me buy those foods that I want even if they don't eat it just to satisfy my cravings. I actually was hesitant to try this belt fish then but he said for me to try it, now I love it.

Steak con Maize and mashed potatoes
When my husband asked for Steak the other day, I enticed him with Filipino dishes instead and I was glad that he agreed. The next day, I prepared his cravings just to balance our food likings hehehe. We had steak, corn, and mashed potatoes. We did not have mashed potatoes gravy so I used the Mang Tomas sauce instead and it was delicious.

Snuggle in a Mink Blanket
father-daughter tandem
My beloved husband and lovely daughter are a DUO for everything. Rylie wants her dad for bedtime stories, eating ice cream, playing games, and even baking cookies and cakes. When we we're still in Korea, they made this cake (6-27-08). They were bored to death that day because it was raining that day so they baked a cake. Our daughter helped my husband do the frosting. When it comes to baking stuff, my husband usually is the one doing it, especially sweets. Sweet tooth runs in their family. My sister-in-law joked with me one time and said that they get mean when they can't eat sweets lol.

In the Mood to Cook
Before my husband left going to school this morning, I asked him what he wants for lunch. He asked me to make steak and some mashed potatoes but I bargain hahaha. I asked him to pick some filipino foods and he said he wants some adobo so that is waht I made. I was so busy today, as soon as hubby left I vacuumed the floor then when I got done, I started doing the laundry. While the laundry is going, I started cooking.
I promnised my friend Raquel who is concieving right now that I would cook another batch of bihon (rice noodles) because she is craving for it. so here it is Manay, I hope you like it. It's an honor that you are craving for my pancit maybe your baby will be a good cook like me hahaha, just kidding friends.
I called her to come up and get her share of pancit hehehe. I am glad I was able to do all those chores, now that I got done folding the clothes I can blog a little before I go to bed. Hubby's classes tomorrow are cancelled, yipppeee.

30 years old Clock
My father-in-law has this wooden clock in one of the bedroom in his house. My husband said that it was his project when he was like ten years old. He also made a stoll and a key holder. I was so impressed with the clock because it is still running good after 30 years since he made it. Dad said that John can have it if he wants to. I think that it's a great remembrance of his childhood. Hubby said that he'll get it and preserve it so he can show it to his grandkids.
Speaking of clocks, we only have one here at home. My husband bought it in Guam when he was stationed there.

Super Bowl
Yey, the Saints won. We cheered for the Saints because they were the underdog and we we are so glad that they did a victorious performance. We all went to Dad's house and watched the game.
The kids were busy making their valentine boxes. I love the idea of giving them something to do on the event like this.
Congratulations to the Saints for winning the super bowl game!

Gateway
When we drove our car from Baltimore to Weirton, we did not bother to eat in Maryland because we were worried about our kids and we want to get home before it gets dark. We just bought some burger and fries at a fast food chain and drove away. When we reached PA, we can no longer take our growling tummy so we stop by at this dining areas. We first went to the family House Restaurant but hubby decided to go on the other side of the road which is called Gateway.
Thanks for pointing that Out Kuya Mel. Actually the food looks delicious but as soon as I had a bowl of soup, i was already full so I did not order anymore. Hubby ate at a buffet menu.
