The Body Guard

EJ is my buddy in walking down to school to send and fetch Ate Rylie. He never complain even if he has to wake up early too. But despite of his willingness to go with me to school everyday, I can't convince him to attend pre-school next year. Hubby suggested that maybe we should just skip pre-school for, just like what we did with Rylie and just home school him for that. I am actually starting to teach him a little bit of stuff everyday when Rylie is in school and he seem to be picking it up. But let's see, it's still early to tell, maybe he'll change his mind next year.

Have a great week ahead everyone!

  6. Dahlias are such beautiful and colorful flowers. I love them, especially when you see masses of them growing together. I was lucky enough once to be at Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia when the dahlias were in bloom and it is a sight to behold...totally breathtaking.

  7. He has time to change his mind. Might get him interested in playing with children his age at local parks. If he makes a friend going to school, he may change his mind.

  8. He is adorable! Great picture of the two of you :)

My oldest goes to kindergarten next year and we have "homeschooled" him for preschool although I do enroll him in YMCA classes and this year he is doing T-Ball so he can get some experience with groups of kids and adult authority figures, etc. I don't know what we'll do with my youngest - if we can afford it I might put her in preschool but what we're doing for her brother seems to work fine so far. :)

  10. EJ looks like he was in a bad mood. Don't worry, it is too early to tell whether EJ will want to attend pre school or not. Right now, you are doing right by teaching him the rudiments of pre school. By the time he will be going to school, he will already be familiar with these lessons. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  14. i skipped preschool, but my mum was really so serious in teaching me at home. Oh, those were my happiest days, learning ABC and counting in the arms of my mum, grins...

EJ might change his mind, especially with the influence of his ate. Kabayan miss you much....

  15. A year is a long way off for a little one...he may just change his mind about pre-school. Maybe take him to story time at the library sometime, this will give him an idea of what pre-school will be like.
